I absolutely love the smell and feel of this lotion and have been loyal to the brand for years. I live in the New England area and in freezing winter months I add a little Eucerin to this lotion to increase the moisutre, but I'd never give this lotion up totally!

A co-worker introduced me to this lotion a few years ago..and I've been hooked ever since. I find it to be the only lotion that I can use anywhere, even on my face where every other product has been a problem. All around winner with smell, efficacy, and value.

My friend at work has this exact lotion, I tried it out and loved it. So after using it for a while I figured it was well enough time to get my own and I did. It came in today. It smells like plastic. It's horrible. I had to wash my hands immediately after use. So now I have this 32 oz bottle going to waste.  Maybe I received a bad bottle??

I absolutely love this cocoa butter lotion. I actually purchased it as a face moisturizer because I was tired of spending money on expensive products that promised to fade scars, marks, and blemishes. Let's just say that I am incredibly amazed at the results over the course of three weeks. My scars that had been left behind from black heads have diminished. In addition, I use this as an eye moisturizer below and around my eyes and not only have the fine lines faded away, my eyes look more brighter and alive when I wake up each morning. I literally don't use anything else on my face after applying this lotion and it's great for oily skin. Other cocoa butter lotions/creams have caused me to break out because they were too oily, but not Queen Helen's Cocoa Butter Lotion.

Now ladies and gents, I do have oily skin so I didn't purchase this lotion on the basis of being an intense moisturizer. If you have dry skin you should try Queen Helen's Cocoa Butter Cream which comes in a jar because it's thick and richer than the lotion, or if you really want a pure cocoa butter scent which provides intense moisturizing capabilities, try Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion or Cream. Palmer's is fantastic for applying on my body, but too oily for my already oily skin on my face.

This product is very affordable so I thought why not give it a try because the store did not have the product I use all the time and love, Palmer's Cocoa Butter. I used this product for a few days and was so disappointed that I stopped. It does not moisturize at all. My skin was back to being dry as soon as the lotion dried which was 5 minutes later. The smell is so bad that I could not use it on my hands. I also noticed that my small red spots started appearing on my legs. I'm going back to Palmer's.

Mine has lasted a year (granted I also use sunless tanner and occasionally the QH body oil to moisturize). I don't notice a scent. Definitely not greasy; leaves my skin feeling wonderful. My hands get pretty dry from constant handwashing and oven heat as a baker - this keeps my hands looking ladylike ;)

The reason I bought this was because my skin gets a little dry and flaky during the winter time and I just needed something simple that'll do the job. I saw that this was a fairly inexpensive buy, considering how gigantic the bottle is!

The scent is this really sweet, coconut-y, vanilla-y scent. I personally don't mind the scent, especially since it doesn't linger for long. However, there are some people who don't like the scent (esp. my mom, haha).

As for whether or not it moisturizers well... It's not that great at it. I think the reason why is because it's formulated to be used on the face as well? The consistency is very thin and I feel like it doesn't moisturize my dry skin as well as I hoped (not for the winter months anyway). But I think this will be good for the summer days. Especially since it claims that it protects skin from sun a bit.

Overall, still a good buy and good product.

Oh, I love this cocoa butter lotion. It was on sale at [@] so I thought I'd give it a try. I just love it, after my bath or shower. Moisturizes my skin, lasts all day, inexpensive.
