The trick is to leave it on 20 minutes--not 10 like the directions say, as I feel that is when it starts to work. It does have a strong fragrance to it, smells like TIDE laundry soap which is a nice smell, just a bit strong at first. The price is right too! I just might try one of the other ones from this brand just to change things up from time to time. Overall, good quality and price. It has always gone onvery smooth and is a good finish to my regular Sunday facial, but this batch literally comes out of the tube like a glob of glue. It did leave my skin feeling soft and clean, but I didn't notice any improvement after using this product. It's still a great product as a pick-me-up, but I probably won't buy this again. Since I started using this product about three months ago, I haven't had a single pimple. Because it was uneven, it never seemed to dry and I couldn't tell that it had done a thing!
