Pop Beauty creator Sara Strand has never had a problem getting noticed. With a flair for the dramatic, this Swedish-born, “London grown”, makeup artist & performing artist and now cosmetic mogul found her passion for color on stage as a young performer and today, she brings you POP as art, fashion and music! Sara describes it as” bringing makeup artistry to the street!”

In the same way the sound of her singing voice touches the heart, her eye for colour is like an artist’s use of a canvas. ”I like to use makeup as an accessory to my mood, it’s all about how you feel – today!”

Through her experience behind the scenes at runway shows and photo shoots and after years of research Sara soon realized she wanted to create her own brand to fit her needs as an artist and performer. She says, "I wanted to do something unique and edgy, create a bit of pretty punk – something to take you from drab to fab – to make heads turn and to pump the volume up a notch!

The POP girl can be anyone, and, according to Sara, age is just a mindset. "A little bit of POP is really a must for anyone who is ready to play, or looking for something fresh, fun and exciting," she explains. "The POP girl wants to try something new and slightly edgy."

Sara named the brand based on her industry experience and years as an artist. The word “pop", in addition to its musical connotations, is a makeup artist term used to describe the colour that makes the face come alive, the ultimate finishing touch and the icing on the cake!
