How long will it take for my medication(s) to arrive? It depends. For your safety, we verify each prescription, which means in can take up to 12 days for your first order to arrive. Three days to process and 2-10 days for shipping, depending on the method you choose.
Because they take less time to process, refills are quicker. If you choose overnight shipping your medication could arrive in just two days. With standard shipping it will be there within eight days. If you haven't received your prescription after 14 days, contact us at rxorders@drugstore.com or 1-800-378-4786.

How much does shipping cost? Standard shipping on medications is just $2.99. If you'd like to receive your prescriptions faster, expedited shipping methods are available. Refrigerated drugs must be shipped overnight, so additional charges apply. See our prescription shipping chart for details.

Do I need a prescription? Yes. It's dangerous (and illegal) to obtain a medication without a prescription from your doctor. For your safety, we don't honor prescriptions written by online doctors or doctors that don't consult with their patients in person. back to top
Do you receive or ship medications outside the United States? We cannot ship prescription orders outside of the United States, unless it's to an APO or FPO address. For your safety, we only accept prescriptions written by doctors licensed within the United States. back to top
Will you accept my insurance? We accept 95% of insurance plans. Unfortunately, at this time we can't accept Medicaid or plans that use Medco as a prescription claims processor. For a complete list of the insurance plans we accept, click here.
When you use insurance, your co-pay will be determined as we process your prescription. We'll contact your insurance company to validate your coverage and, if there's any problem, we'll notify you immediately. back to top
How much money will an insurance or prescription discount card save me? Your savings is determined by your benefit provider. Contact your plan administrator or call the 800 number on the back of your card to verify your savings. back to top
What if something happens to my order? If your prescription order was damaged during shipping, please call us immediately at 1-800-378-4786. To protect the health and safety of our customers, we don't accept returns on prescription items. back to top
Can I use a check to pay for my order? At this time, you may pay for your order with a credit or debit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner's Card. back to top
Can I buy toothpaste and other over-the-counter (OTC) products with my prescriptions? Yes, after you place your initial prescription order. First time prescription orders are placed in their own shopping bag, so you'll purchase any OTC products in a separate transaction. When refilling a medication, you can shop the pharmacy and the rest of the site at the same time and in the same transaction. back to top |
