Prevacid NapraPAC

This product contains two different medicines, lansoprazole and naproxen. This combination is used to treat the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis in patients who have had a stomach ulcer condition in the past. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat many conditions associated with inflammation. Use of naproxen has been associated with an increased risk for stomach ulcers. Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce the amount of acid the stomach produces. Together, these medicines may provide the benefits of naproxen while protecting the stomach from excess acid production. This may reduce the risk of new ulcers associated with the use of naproxen. Prevacid NapraPAC may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
