Indications

For temporary relief of minor aches and pains due to headaches, arthritis, colds, and fever.

Directions

Adults: Place one powder on tongue and follow with liquid, or stir powder into a glass of water or other liquid. May be repeated in 4-6 hours. Do not take more than 4 powders in any 24-hour period. Children under 12 years old: Consult a doctor.

Do not take this product if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis unless directed by a doctor.

Warnings

Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of health professional before using this product. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or the Poison Control Center immediately. This product contains aspirin and should not be taken by individuals who are sensitive to aspirin. If pain continues for more than 10 days, or redness is present, consult a physician immediately. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask you doctor whether you should take acetaminophen / aspirin or other pain relievers or fever reducers. Acetaminophen/ aspirin may cause liver damage or stomach bleeding.

I had a terrible ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/20/08 I had a terrible toothache that was hurting pretty bad. I was desperate one day and picked some of this up. WOW!! Yes, it's very bitter but I have it with OJ or soda, and it takes the taste away immediately. The pain relief is far better than anything I have tried OTC! This will ALWAYS be in my home and a must in my purse!

Goody's works so well I ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/29/08 Goody's works so well I am surprised that they are legal. Nothing cures a hangover like Goody's. NOTHING. It works so quickly it is like a miracle. The first few times I used it, I'd mix it with a sweet drink. Now, I just shake it out on my tongue and follow it with a chaser of water. The taste doesn't even bother me because I know it brings sweet relief in about 5 minutes. It's also pretty good for cramps.

These headache powders ... by Randee in Forest Hills n.y., NY on 2/21/08 These headache powders work really fast, you do not have to wait for capsules or tablets to melt. Another nice thing about them is they do not have a lot of strange "inactive" ingredients that may make you feel worse instead of better. The headache powders are very effective even when you have very bad headaches. If you suffer from mouth dryness, put the powder in a small glass of liquid to prevent choking. The powder is virtually tasteless in liquid, another positive thing about this great product!

When we were living in ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/28/07 When we were living in Georgia, my husband's co-worker let him try this for a bad headache and it worked instantly! That was 9 years ago, and we will not use anything else. We both get occasional migraines and I am not joking, this stuff works within minutes for us! We now live in New York, and can't find it at any of the drugstores or grocery stores. I never knew it existed until we moved to Georgia, but I do hope it catches on in the north. Since it is in powder form I take mine with soda so I don't taste the bitterness as much.

It works extra fast (especially if taken with a caffeine drink, like a Coke). The taste isn't great, but it beats having a headache.

I take Goody's and the headache is gone, almost instantly. I also take it first thing in the morning for pain in my back. Within a few minutes the pain has disappeared.

I don't get headaches or ... by Todd in Bakersville, NC on 4/7/04 I don't get headaches or pains very often, but when I do Goody's works great! Once in a great while I will get a knot in my neck from a strange sleeping position that will pound in my neck and head. I have tried other pain relievers and this one seemed to work much faster and dull it to where it was hardly noticeable. They are small enough that you can carry several around with you. I don't recommend many products, but I feel rather comfortable with this one. Taste kind of bad, but it's worth the taste for a few seconds to get rid of the pain!

If youre a drinker, take some before your night ends and a hangover will never find you - I SWEAR !!! The stores in Colorado charge an outrageous amount per box. Great price on drugstore.com, guys! All my boarder brothers and sisters use these after a day on the slopes to take away the aches and pains. It usually kicks in after about 5 or 10 minutes. The taste is not the greatest, but take some in the morning and you will be good all day. This WORKS.

Goody's is the best. My ... by rochelle in Undisclosed on 12/28/03 Goody's is the best. My grandfather used to use Goody's when I was a little girl. I am now 45 years old, and one day I found a pack in the store. It works extremely well when I have a headache, and once taking it, it doesn't take long at all before the headache is gone. Extra Strength Tylenol and Motrin don't do me much good, but Goody's definitely does. I highly recommend it. Glad I thought about searching for it on line. I haven't been able to find it much in the local drug stores.

I have suffered from ... by Dana S in Graham, NC on 9/27/03 I have suffered from migraines all my adult life and have taken many powerful pain meds to fight them. About two years ago, I took a Goody's for a migraine, thinking there was no way it would help something that severe. I was shocked. It did! Now Goody's will help all but my worst migraines. If you put the powder far enough back on your tongue where your taste buds aren't, you won't have to endure the bitter taste. Take with plenty of water so you don't burn your throat.

I know this product very ... by darlene in Undisclosed on 8/25/03 I know this product very well. I grew up in the south and for headaches you have to take either a Goody or a BC headache powder. I think i am probably the only person alive who still use these products, and who still drinks powdered milk. But these headache powders relieves the headache 'before you can say anbesol'. The major stores here in the north do not sell these products, only the cheaper 1.00 stores and now the store i was going to stopped selling it. So here i am at Drugstore.com. I just pour the powder on my tongue and follow with water or whatever. If you can stand the taste of ground aspirin, i highly recommend this product. It's worth it, trust me.
