I used this product about 2x daily throughout my entire pregnancy and it did absolutely nothing to prevent stretchmarks...the smell is very strong and its greasiness ruined my clothes.

I am 52 yrs old, I have had 3 pregancies (3rd was with twins) and I do not have a stretch mark on my body. There are ladies that are 15 yrs old that have ugly marks and saggy skin due to lack of skin care and if they had of used this it would of helped them so much. I used this product throughout my entire pregnancy with my first child. The smell was too strong and it won't go away even after I washed my clothes. I had to wash the same load for 2-3 times. It felt wet and sticky. I applied 3-4 times a day and still ended up getting stretch marks. My GYN told me that stretch marks are hereditary but some may have more than others. However, I feel that applying lotion/cream while pregnant helps reduce the stretch marks. I'm now on my second pregnancy and using another cream.

I didn't have the luck that everyone else seems to have had using this product. I didn't care for the smell and it didn't do much for my skin.

I heard about this product when I first got pregnant with my daughter, and I started using it right away. I put it on my stomach, breasts, arms, and thighs every night. It's a bit greasy going on, it's an oil, and the smell is a little strong, smells like eucalyptus, but it WORKED. My mother and sister both have stretch marks all over their breasts and stomachs, but I have none on my stomach or thighs, and only one tiny one on my breasts, which formed after I had my baby while I was breastfeeding. I should have continued to use it on the underside of my breasts, and just avoided the nipple area. I used it after I had her, but on my stomach and thighs, and my skin firmed right up. My skin certainly doesn't show that I had a baby. AWESOME product!!! I recommend it all the time.

Almost 3 months since I gave birth and not one single stretch mark! The smell is horrible but after the first week or so I got used to it and it was worth it. Every morning since my first month of pregnancy I would put this all over my stomach, breast, and back/side and let it soak in for about 5 minutes ( I wore my robe and put my makeup on) before I put my cloths on and I was good for the rest of day. I didn't experience any staining and no one could smell it one. If you really don't want stretch marks you'll put up with the smell.

Yes, this product is a bit on the stinky side, but I venture to say that you get used to it! And yes, this product is actually an oil and not a lotion. However, I used this product religiously with my first pregnancy and came out 9 months later without a single stretch

My friend sent me to a General Store 4 years ago to buy some Mothers Friend (MF) for my pregnancy. She had three boys and had no stretch marks and she swore by the product. I have heard stretch marks are hereditary and I already had them from adolescence (gain and loss of weight) on my calves and rear. SO I KNOW I GET STREACH MARKS. Aside from that my mother and sister have them. Well I purchased the product and experimented by using coco butter lotion and coco butter soup on my breast. I used MF on my abdomen, rear and thighs. As a result I have light stretch marks on my breast but NO stretch marks on my stomach or anywhere I used MF! I was amazed and I have raved about MF ever since! The drug store has closed and I am online looking for MF because I am pregnant again. MF works; who cares if it dries you out, that is what lotion is for. I would rather be ashy then stretched all out any day, but that is just me. Put me down for 5 bottles!

Every woman in my family has used this successfully. If you don't want stretch marks BUY this NOW. Doctors will tell you stretch marks are hereditary, but mother knows best. I didn't believe my mother and I stopped using this during my pregnancy, I have one stretch mark and a vivid memory of the night the stretch painfully occurred. Use an ample amount, it works!
