Indications

To prevent and relieve nasal symptoms of hay fever and other nasal allergies:  runny/itchy nose, sneezing, allergic stuffy nose.

Directions

Before using any medication real all label directions.  Keep carton and package insert.  They contain important information. NasalCrom Nasal Spray is convenient and easy to administer using the metered spray pump.  See package insert for spray pump directions. see package insert on how to use pump parent or care provider must supervise the use of this product by young children adults and children 2 years and older: spray once into each nostril.  Repeat 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours).  If needed, may be used up to 6 times a day use every day while in contact with the cause of your allergies (pollen, molds, pets, and dust) to prevent nasal allergy symptoms, use before contact with the cause of your allergies.  For best results, start using up to one week before contact. if desired, you can use this product with other medicines, including other allergy medicines. children under 2 years:  Do not use unless directed by a doctor.

Your best effect may not be seen for 1-2 weeks. Brief stinging or sneezing may occur right after use. Do not use this product to treat sinus infection, asthma, or cold symptoms. Do not share this bottle with anyone else. This may spread germs. Stop using this product if: Your symptoms worsen You have new symptoms Your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks You need to use for more than 12 weeks If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children.  If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

I moved from the ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/19/08 I moved from the southwest to the mid Atlantic a couple of years ago and, though in my 30's, developed an awful case of seasonal allergies. Every spring and fall a lot of sneezing, congestion, etc. Claritin and other pills didn't do much for me. I tried this and, like the package says, it takes a few days for it to start working. And it WORKS. I use a spray every morning and every evening and it keeps the worst symptoms at bay. Given how little side effects and precautions (hardly any compared to other allergy medicines) I recommend anyone give it a try.

I take prescription Allegra-D and while it helps, it does not take away all of my allergy symptoms. When used in conjunction with NasalCrom, I feel like I have no allergies. The great thing about NasalCrom is that it can be used with prescriptions with no fear of interactions. I have been using it since it was a prescription several years ago, and I think it is a lifesaver. No more unbearably itchy throat and nose, no more sinus problems, no more nose running. I am a normal person during allergy season now! Buy this!

Actually Works! I have ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/28/04 Actually Works! I have very bad nasal-based allergies and this has worked well (be sure to use as directed). It works as well for me as the prescriptions I tried, without the side effects. I use it about 2 - 3 times a day. If I had tried it before going to the doctor, I could have saved a lot of time.

Two years ago I developed ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/22/03 Two years ago I developed a bad allergy to dust mites. My doctor prescribed Nasacort, which did not work. Claritin and similar oral antihistamines did not work for me either. Nasal decongestants such as Vicks Sinex, Afrin, would provide complete relief for a short while, then my symptoms would come back even worse. My doctor prescribed surgery to remove or trim the nasal turbinates, which is something that I am simply NOT willing to go through. Then I found NasalCrom. I have been using it for several weeks, and it has made my life much better. My symptoms (stuffy+runny nose, difficulty breathing at night, sneezing, etc) have gone away almost entirely. I am using NasalCrom three times a day, once in each nostril. I am planning to cut down to two times (then one time) a day - to use the smallest effective dose possible.
