Indications

Nasal Allergy Symptom Controller. To prevent relieve nasal symptoms of hay fever and other nasal allergies: runny/itchy nose. sneezing. allergic stuffy nose.

Directions

Adults and children 6 years of age and older: Spray once into each nostril. Repeat 3-4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) if needed may be used up to 6 times a day. Use every day while in contact with the cause of your allergies (pollens, molds, pets, and dust). To prevent nasal allergy symptoms, use before contact with cause of your allergies. For best results, start using up to one week before contact. If desired you can use NalalCrom with other medicines, including other allergy medicines. Children under 6 years of age: Do not use unless directed by a doctor. How to use the Pump Spray: Blow your nose before using NasalCrom. Remove the clear plastic cap and yellow safety clip. Hold pump with thumb at bottom and nozzle between fingers. If this is the first time you are using the pump, spray 5 times into the air or until you get a fine mist. If you have not used the pump for 14 days, spray 2 times into the air before using again. Insert nozzle into nostril. Spray upward while breathing in through the nose. Repeat in other nostril. To keep clean, wipe the nozzle. Put clear plastic cap and yellow safety clip back on the bottle. Do not share this bottle with anyone else as this may spread germs. Store between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F).  Keep away from light.

Ask a doctor before use if you have: Fever. Discolored nasal discharge. Sinus pain. Wheezing. When using this product: It may take several days of use to notice an effect. Your best effects may not be seen for 1 to 2 weeks. Brief stinging or sneezing may occur right after use. Do not use this product to treat sinus infection, asthma, or cold symptoms. Do not share this bottle with anyone else as this may spread germs. Stop using this product if: Your symptoms worsen. You have new symptoms Your symptoms do not begin to improve within two weeks. See your doctor because these could be signs of a serious illness. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before using this product.  Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.  In case of accidental ingestion/overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.  Do not use if printed plastic bottle wrap imprinted with "SafetySeal®" is broken or missing.

A lifesaver! by Amy in Silver Spring, MD on 6/28/08 Pros: Long-Lasting, Relieves Symptoms Effectively Best Uses: Long-Term Use Bottom Line: recommended Our doctor recommended this to my husband years ago when none of the Rx sprays or pills helped. He has allergies, and I have chronic rhinitis, and it's been a lifesaver for both of us. It doesn't work immediately, but it does work long term very well. The only side effects are that it stings upon application sometimes, but that goes away quickly. It's so gentle & is so safe that my friend was allowed to use only two drugs during her pregnancy: NasalCrom & Tylenol. I've recommended this to many friends, and all have been surprised at how well it works. The price isn't great, but there are finally generics available at lower prices.

Even things that worked well for my patients would not work for me. I have SEVERE hay fever for 6 weeks every spring, & have since I was 5 years old (20 on a scale of 1-10!). Nasal-crom has reduced them about 90% so far, and I've only been using it for 1 week. No side effects, since it's not really a drug. Allergy drugs only made me sleepy or loopy, & allergy shots did not work either, but Nasal-crom really works. I am thrilled! I will recommend it to all my patients. NOTE: you must use it 3-6 times per day every day for at least a week or two to see relief.

This product is amazing. ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/20/08 This product is amazing. I have been recommending it to everyone that I know that suffers with allergies. I used to be sick with allergies/colds at least 3 or 4 times per year. I started using NasalCrom once a day on 2/28/03 and have been allergy and cold free for 5 years. I will not leave home without using it. You can adjust the dosage to whatever works for you which may be different for each user. I have not experienced any side effects. Do yourself a favor and try it.

This product is far ... by Teresa in Asheboro, NC on 3/8/08 This product is far superior to Flonase, Rhinocort, and Vancenase. I have been bothered with chronic sinus drainage and even had sinus surgery. When I started using NasalCrom, it didn't take long for me to get immediate relief. I don't know why this works better for me, but it even helps when I have a cold. I am finding that it is hard to find. For a while, I couldn't find the product at CVS, Kerr Drug, Wal-Mart, Walgreens or any of the other major retailers.

I used Nasalcrom this year and my allergies are maybe a 3 at worst. This is the best thing to ever happen to my allergies. Will definitely continue to buy.

I was a mess last year, but now that I'm using this spray I haven't had a problem. As soon as I notice my allergies acting up, I take a spray and they clear right up. This spray has made a huge difference in my life because my allergies are pretty horrible. This works so well that I wonder why it isn't heavily advertised. I no longer need those drowsy meds.

I've taken prescription ... by Kacy C in West Suffield, CT on 10/16/05 I've taken prescription allergy medication for most of my life. I used Nasalcrom when it was available by prescription and was quick to use it again as an OTC drug. Nasalcrom combined with Alavert has totally replaced the more expensive prescription allergy medication that I had been taking. I find that I have good luck preventing nasal allergies attacks by taking Nasalcrom even when I'm symptom-free.

I tried NasalCrom for a week and noticed a big difference. My nose has stopped bleeding, and I can breathe. I highly recommend others who do not have health problems that can be aggravated by using this product, to try it. I only use it once a day, so I don't get any side effects and it works JUST GREAT!! Two years ago I developed ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/22/03 Two years ago I developed a bad allergy to dust mites. My doctor prescribed Nasacort, and it did not work. Claritin and similar oral antihistamines did not work for me either. Nasal decongestants such as Vicks Sinex and Afrin, would provide complete relief for a short while, then my symptoms would come back even worse. My doctor prescribed surgery to remove or trim the nasal turbinates, which is something that I am simply NOT willing to go through. Then I found NasalCrom. I have been using it for several weeks, and it has made my life much better. My symptoms (stuffy and runny nose, difficulty breathing at night, sneezing, etc) have gone away almost entirely. I am using NasalCrom three times a day, once in each nostril. I am planning to cut down to two times (then one time) a day - to use the smallest effective dose possible.
