Best eye drops for red eyes. I use them before applying makeup and my eyes like clear all day. I'm over 50 and have been using it daily for 15 years. Just had my eyes checked and was told my eyes are very healthy. My ophthalmologist told me using the eye drops daily doesn't hurt me.

The best eye drops I've ever used. I have red eyes that are beginning to get dry by the end of the day and irritated and when I wake up in the morning, they look awful. Before I put my makeup on, I put a drop in each eye and within a minute, they are cleared up and feel great. They look fine all day too. My friend has the worst case of dry eye there is and has tried everything and she is hooked on this stuff.

For long term relief, Naphcon doesn't do the job. I suffer the worst allergies at night while sleeping and within hours of using Naphcon, I'm rubbing my eyes again. I'd suggest Zaditor instead.

This product is great! I had some trouble with my eyes getting very red and sore-looking. It was so bad that everyone thought I had pink eye. After many trips to my regular doctor they sent me to an eye doctor who said it was not pink eye but some type of allergy, and he told me about Naphcon A. My eyes felt lots better! I always buy more when I run out. Works great for seasonal allergies, and pollen, etc. I took a ride out in the country and I was in pretty bad shape until I got those drops in my eyes. I used to use a prescription product called Vasocon. It is no longer available. So I started using Naphcon-A. It not only takes care of the itch, redness and tearing... it's over the counter! It doesn't burn like Vasocon did. Naphcon-A is THE choice - way better than Visine, too.

I used to use Visine and any other product that "whitened" the eye due to sun and other irritant's. Never use anything else but Naphcon. It doesn't dry out the eye, it wets it and whitens it.

This is a much, much better product than anything Visine makes. If I could take only one medicine to a desert island, this would be it; I'd rather go without Flonase for my allergies than be without Naphcon A!

My allergist recommended these eyedrops to me...I make sure I always have them in my medicine cabinet. I'm never without them. They work great everytime!

I suffer from seasonal allergies, especially in the spring when everything is blooming. My nurse practitioner recommended Naphcon-A to me. I initially balked at spending money on a tiny bottle of eye drops, but felt miserable enough to trust her judgment. I was not disappointed. They were especially helpful when I put them in my eyes prior to sleeping. I woke up with less redness and swelling in the morning. It's not a cure, but it certainly alleviated my watery, red, swollen eyes. I was prescribed this to treat a red area in my eye (which we assumed was an allergy). It looked as if it cleared it up, but my condition worsened until I was eventually diagnosed with "Dry Eye" syndrome and had to get punctual plugs inserted into my tear ducts. It took weeks for the Naphcon to get out of my system. In the interim, it caused my pupils to dilate at random (making me violently ill). I had to wear sunglasses for 2 weeks to avoid the light and could not drive long distances. I could not read, nor could I see for long distances. Please speak to your doctor if your have "allergy eye" and ask him/her about the alternatives to this product.
