I have used this product for years, through kids and husband. Nothing else I have tried works better and this is much more portable - so easy to grab in the middle of the night when that ankle bite is driving one crazy!

The ammonia in this product causes severe pain if you apply it to a bite after you have scratched it. It also left a bad scar. There needs to be a warning on this stuff for the severe pain it causes and the terrible smell.

I recommend this product. Currently I have lots of tiny insect bites all over my legs and both my upper arms. I dont know how I got them but this product works! I had another product but it didnt really help or at least not that fast. For me, I like the feeling of a little sting, so I know its working on the bites. The only thing I dont like about this product is the ammonia smell which its like ten seconds of the smell and its gone after ward, you'll almost forgot you applied some on you. Though still have to reapply after few hours

After bite is the best product I've ever used for chigger bites. It stops the itch immediately, and lessens the overall reaction until the bite heals. Nothing else has ever come close to the effectiveness of this product.

My 2 year old got stung on the face by a bee and someone gave us this to try. It helped relieve the pain within a minute. I'm ordering some now to keep on hand.

I wish I had remembered to take it on vacation with me. It does work to ease the itch and pain from bug bites.

Works great. I call it my "itchy stick" medicine. Handy to take with you, also.

I'm another one who is irresistible to mosquitoes and reacts with big, intensely itchy lumps. After Bite is a godsend, and I carry it with me all summer, because the key to successful use of this product is to apply it immediately upon being bitten, and then again every few hours. Used this way, it can virtually eliminate the itchy reaction and greatly lessen the size of the lump. (If you wait, or don't realize you've been bitten till some time later, it does little.) Also, it's important to really rub the applicator in firmly, so the liquid is forced into the tiny opening in the bite -- my kids always know they've done it right if it stings a bit -- that means it's gotten into the bite. As for the best anti-itch product once it's too late for After Bte, well, nothing is perfect, but check out Band-Aid Anti-Itch Gel Spritz, which has allowed me to sit through office meetings and get some sleep after a mosquito attack.

It stops my itch. The thing I don't like about this product is that it has a strong smell.

It really does help stop the mosquito bite itch , but you will smell the ammonia. Also, it stopped working fairly soon and I needed to reapply, but that may be because I tend to have nasty reactions to bites.
