When Purpose discontinued Redness Reducing Spf 30 moisturizer their call center recommended Aveeno Ultra Calming spf 30. So I tried it. I am not happy with it. I don't like the smell, don't like the way it feels on my face and I think it is causing a minor break out. It doesn't really absorb well, it feels like a layer of something (maybe sunscreen) on my face. The smell is odd.

I love this moisturizer. I have been using this product for two weeks and it has reduced the redness on my face almost entirely. I have roscea and alleriges (end of nose is red from blowing) and have never found a product to help eliminate the redness. I no longer have to wear green corrector. This product is great and I will order it again and again...

This product has been really useful in reducing redness on my sensitive, oily skin. I plan to continue using it for a long time.

I know this product isn't designed to fight acne, but if your skin is very, very sensitive it does!!! Okay, I have tried everything ¿ absolutely everything to cure acne. First, I tried everything I could find over the counter, randomly picking one thing after another. I also tried Proactive only to discover that like everything else designed to fight zits, Benzoyl Peroxide is so strong it only irritates my sensitive skin and makes it break out worse. So I decided to try a more gentle approach and followed a book's regimen for vitamin and herbal remedies. This also, was to no avail. Then I went to the dermatologist. The solution he had me put on my face had the potency of airplane paint stripper¿and the same effects. After a year of going to the dermatologist, my face was breaking out worse than it ever has before or since. Let me tell you, by this time, my face was worse than just breaking out. It was so sensitive to so many product I had tried that it was constantly itching and bright red all over! After realizing the products I had been using were the problem I went through quite a long stage when I wouldn't let anything but water touch it. The after-effects of these products still would not reverse. I bought the book, "The Skin Type Solution," and took the quiz, which referred me to my chapter. (This book is absolutely the Bible of skincare.) I was surprised when my chapter said that my face might not tolerate Benzoyl Peroxide ¿ something I already knew very, very well. The book recommended "Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizing Cream" instead ¿ a product so gentle that it doesn't even claim to cure acne. But for my sensitive skin, it did!!! It didn't take near as long as I had expected before the pimples vanished. Then the redness went away. It took a little longer for my face to feel normal again, but gradually, even the constant itching vanished completely. I have been using this product for the last three years and it really works!I'm beginning to get really worried because I can't find the night cream version of this product anywhere. I hope Aveeno never stops making this.

this stuff is great. i knew my skin was sensitive and i was allergic to plain random stuff, but i didnt realize the redness was from irritation.I get warm very easily so i thought i was just hot,. I needed a moisturizer with an spf so i picked this one up and decided to gove it a try.The next day i wasnt red at all! i have natural pink undertones to my porcelain skin, complete with rosy cheeks and thats the only thing close to red that i could see. Good job Aveeno! But a warning, a little bit goes a loong way, if you use a whole pump youre gonna be very greasy

it left a thin film on my skin which made me unconfortable. for me, moustrizer goes for at least 6 months so I'd rather save on something else and buy a good face cream.. I suggest you do the same, its your face ladies...

I've used this product for quick a while now, and i can see that my skin has improved and my redness is reducing. Use it every morning and afternoon when i go outside. Another great product, it doesn't make my face brake out, which is good because i have very sensitive skin. Love this product would buy it again.

First of all, I want to start out by saying that yes--I have problem skin anyway so it's not as if this product made my perfectly clear skin break out or anything. However, I had really high hopes for this moisturuzer. Currently, my doctor has me on Differin and Clyndacine Gel. I've been on this regimine only for about a month but hadn't had an active breakout since I started the routine. Right now, I use clinique dramatically different gel which I love but it doesn't have spf (which is 100% necessary when on Differin) and putting the Clinque ontop of the Clindamycine sometimes made my skin look waaay too oily (but weirdly never caused me to break out). I bought Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer and started using it. After two days, the redness in my cheeks had all but dissapeared. However, even five minutes after putting it on, it just felt too heavy for my skin, like it was clogging my pores. For those of you with problem skin, you know what I'm talking about. After about four days, I started breaking out around my chin area. I went back to clinque about two days ago and it started to clear up right away. This product is effective in reducing redness but I would be weary of this product if you have problem skin.

I bought this because I was in a bind and needed something right away, and this was all I could find close to what I needed. I'm glad I found it! I didn't like it at first, but then one night I decided to try it before bed and ever since then (about a week ago) its been great. I really feel like my face is much better because of this product. yay Aveeno!
