I have used this product for several years. I have tried many other dandruff shampoos and this one work the best by far. I have psorisis and this shampoo helps to keep in in check.

Dr. told me I had Folliculites on scalp...which just itched all the time. Causes little sores...you scratch...then you have a scab/sore. It is a cycle really. Then I tried this shampoo and it was great. It does smell funny when you first put it on, but it seems to go away after the hair is dry. Will buy more of this....

Twenty years ago this was recommended to me as the best thing on the market to control my extremely oily hair. I've used it ever since and have never found anything else to match it. I use it daily and it does great in controling the oil. I would recommend this to everyone but especially to anyone who has extremely oily hair!

I have fairly bad seborrheic dermatitis and I would say this works about average on it. However, the reason for my low rating is the smell. I know sulfur smells bad but it seems that the manufacturer of this shampoo could at least try to mask the awful stench. It makes my hair smell like [*] and dries it out horribly.

I've tried every shampoo that's available and this is the only one that controls my dandruff problem. I only have to use it once a week to get the results I need. I can use other shampoos in-between.

Had been wrestling for some time with itchy scalp with red bumps and sores. Not quite infection, not quite seborrhea. One shampoo with the product was great. After three washes the problem was gone. I use it about every 3rd to 4th time now to keep problem away and not sure it is even needed. Doesn't smell great as it is sulfur based but also didn't strip my hair either.

Sebulex smells bad,it builds up after 3 shampoos (get Neutrogena anti residue shampoo to wash out the buildup--the formula is new blue and white box--no parabens--thank you Neutrogena). Sebulex is over priced, but try it as it might work for you.

The sulfur ingredient helped to stop my scalp from itching. I used to use Selsun in the yellow bottle for that function, but I could not find it anymore so Sebulex is a great replacement.

My dermatologist recommended Sebulex to me +15 years ago for a scalp infection. I use it periodically when the infection returns. 3-5 days completely clears up the problem. It is wonderful but difficult to find in brick-and-mortar drugstores. Thank Heaven for Drugstore.com!

have severe dandruff problem which "moves" to face in form of exema if not controlled by regular use of product. Also gentle enough to use regularly for any such condition. Dr. Rx'd it yrs ago. used to use in conjunction w/ Sebutone coal tar shampoo - was only gentile tar shampoo on market but not available anymore. smells great.
