Directions

Shake well. massage onto wet scalp. Leave lather on scalp for five minutes. Rinse. Repeat application. Rinse thoroughly. Initially, use daily, every other day, or as directed by a doctor. Itching and scaling are often controlled after 2 or 3 treatments; 1 or 2 treatments a week will usually maintain control, although daily use may be continued.

Is it really worth stinky hair? by Dandruff Man in Pittsburg, PA on 6/22/08 Cons: Harsh, Smells Bad Hair Type: Combination Bottom Line: not recommended I read the almost perfect reviews here and bought this dandruff shampoo. Ive tried like 15 shampoos this year on the quest to find the perfect dandruff/itchy scalp shampoo. I have to say it might be as effective as Nizoral, but the smell is almost too potent to stand. I have headache sometimes the longer i notice it. If i take a night shower, its hard to fall asleep with the smell overpowering you (and this is after using strongest conditioner afterwards on hair). Stick with other brands until they figure out how to make it smell better.

My dandruff is completely controlled; my scalp hardly itches at all. It's become impossible to find in local stores, so I'm glad to have found it here. This stuff is a ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/18/08 This stuff is a life-saver for dandruff, itch, oily scalp, and seborrheic dermatitis. My boyfriend's scalp woes were cleared up after just one use -- and he had been suffering for years with all of the above. It also smells terribly strong and be careful not to get any in your mouth when rinsing it out -- whoa is it nasty! It also dries out the hair something awful, but following it up with a rich conditioner alleviates that problem. It's worth it, for a shampoo that solves so many problems. Thanks Sebulex!

This smells very stinky in the shower, but the smell fades away when my hair dries. This controls dandruff, prevents pimples on my scalp and along my hairline, and leaves my hair looking and feeling wonderful as long as I use a heavy conditioner (I'm getting great results from the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Weekly Hair Mask.) I can use it just once a week and it still controls the dandruff completely. The zinc pyrithrone shampoo I used to use (T-Gel) didn't control dandruff and itch unless I used it every day, did nothing for scalp zits, and dried out my hair something awful. Great stuff, this!

I tried a bunch of ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/23/07 I tried a bunch of different kinds of dandruff shampoo for years for my mild symptoms, but nothing worked completely until this stuff. I used it 3 days in a row and the dandruff was gone, I haven't used the stuff in 3 weeks, but the dandruff didn't come back. It doesn't smell good, but after I used my regular conditioner and straightening gel and styled my hair, I coudn't smell it at all. I'm very happy I bought this shampoo.

It is so much better now. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with a severe problem like mine. I can only imagine how good it would be for someone with a normal case of dandruff.

I recently had scalp problems that included itching, flaking, scaling, terrible scalp odor, and scalp soreness/pain. I was told that I have Seborrheic Dermatitis, and Sebulex Dandruff Shampoo was my cure!! No more itching, flaking, pain, or scalp odor!!! I would recommend this product to anyone having similar scalp problems. Before Sebulex, I had tried everything (even a prescription shampoo) and nothing had worked until now. It is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it. After I use the shampoo, my hands peel for a couple of days after, and I assume that's from the salicylic acid but I don't mind, it's worth it. This shampoo does not leave my hair feeling like straw, as so many others have. My hair feels so clean and silky. I have long, thick, coarse hair, but Sebulex leaves it feeling so soft and manageable. Two thumbs up!!

Drug Stores and discount stores are usually always sold out of Sebulex. I have been using Sebulex for over 15 years. My doctor prescribed this dandruff medicated shampoo for a scalp condition. I don't have dandruff, but without Sebulex my scalp itches and my hair begins to fall out. With Sebulex, I have a healthy scalp and a full head of good hair. I had a very severe ... by Dean in Bountiful, UT on 10/23/03 I had a very severe dandruff problem. Many products completely failed to deal with it. I was skeptical about this product, but tried it and have used it with total satisfaction ever since. I haven't had a dandruff problem since, except when trying some other product. Sebulex's total dandruff control, long lasting results, relief from itching, and lack of objectionable fragrance are all compelling reasons for my continued use.
