I have used this product for a long time. I use it with my flat iron and it not only helps protect my hair it smells good. The spray dampens the hair so the iron will straighten it easily.

i haven't had any split ends yet but i also do not flat iron my hair everyday. this product is lightweight and smells great. it also doesn't leave product residue when i do straighten my hair.

I love this product! It has just enough conditioner to protect and control my hair without making it greasy. It goes on light and also serves as a good product to get the tangles out. I'm pretty much a wash and dry and go girl... and this is the only hair product I use.

Well it smells nice but doesn't seem to really help or hurt my hair. The bottle isn't as difficult to use as other reviewers say. I guess if it makes you feel better, like you're doing something to protect your hair, use it. I have used it a few times before straightening and it has had no effect whatsoever. I wouldn't buy it again.

I'm old. My hair is old. It's super thin and very, very frizzy. I wear it long to add weight and add lots of product to try to settle it down. If I wore my hair in its natural state in public, someone would probably call the hair police. It's that bad. FOR YEARS I had been blow drying my hair straight with a big round brush. It's worked in the past, but lately this way of styling has left my hair completely fried. It just can't take it anymore. I've used numerous expensive brands of heat protection products and none have worked¿ until I tried this one. After doing some research on Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray and reading all the great reviews, I had to try it, and I must say it's the only product that has worked, and worked extremely well. It's awesome!!! It has changed not only the way my hair looks and feels, it's saving me a tremendous amount of time and money trying to tame it. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I assure you it is not. I've never even written a review before, but I sure do read 'em! I'm especially interested to know the styling techniques of others. If you're reading this and have hair like mine (you poor thing), I'll tell you what is working for me: I wash my hair in the evening and let it dry naturally. In the morning, I spray a copious amount of Tresemme on my hair, to the point where it's sufficiently damp, but not soaking wet. I blow it dry without the use of the big round brush, then use a curling iron to straighten. (I'm not a big fan of the flat irons.) I add a small amount of gel when I'm done to add extra shine. It's taken me a very long time to figure out the best way to deal with hair like mine. If this even helps one person out there, I'm glad I took the time to write this. Perhaps this will help you save a lot of time and a lot of money. I love this product!!!

This really helps protect my hair from the heat of styiling tools. I even use it when I'm out in the sun. It doen't have SPF, but, it keeps my hair from getting frizzy outside

this smells great. i spray it on before i blow dry my hair every other day and i noticed it really dried out my ends. it makes them feel rough. i'm not sure how effective this is though since i don't really notice a difference in my hair before i started using it and after besides what i just explained. i don't think i would buy it again. i actually like how it sprays. it allows it to spray longer and i like how it comes out misty.

This is a very, very, VERY good heat-protection product. Just one bottle lasted me months, and I use it almost every day before I blow dry and flat iron my hair. The only downside is that if you use too much on dry hair, it can make your hair very greasy and heavy. Overall a very good buy.

I have pretty long straight hair, so I often casually wave it or straighten the ends. Since I have very fine hair that's prone to oil, I've been looking for a good lightweight, thermal protection spray. Usually, any kind of project would weigh down my hair, but this spray is perfect! It smells nice, very light, and makes my hair very soft after straightening or curling. The great price is a plus, too. Recommended!

I use this before I use hot rollers and my hairdryer and I think it adds a nice shine to my hair. However, the packaging is miserable to deal with. It leaked all over the box when I ordered it, and I'm pretty sure I could snap the trigger by accident. Otherwise great, affordable product!
