A great, easy product! by Jessica N in Santa Clarita, CA on 7/23/08 Pros: Easy To Apply, Lightweight Cons: Poor Coverage Best Uses: Everyday Bottom Line: recommended I love this product! A compact, easy to use powder that I take with me everywhere. It is pretty sheer, but I like that because I don't use anything heavy on my face. If I have some discoloration or spots, I just use a concealer pencil after I apply this. The brush is a bit weird at first, but I find that tapping the applicator against your wrist or hand a few times will shake out just enough powder into the brush.

It has a 'frosty' look to it...but worse than that, it turned my skin this awful orange tone! I have light skin, and this was horrible. It was SO obvious I was wearing makeup and not a good one at that! I definitely would not purchase this product again.

I have mixed feelings ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/9/07 I have mixed feelings about this makeup. I generally have problems with any makeup I use though. Liquid foundations never blend in and tend to sit on top of my skin and look cakey, no matter how "light" they claim to be. This makeup is nice because it looks natural, but it's kind of *too* natural. My skin is pretty healthy but does have a little ruddiness to it and this doesn't really do much to even it out. I will probably continue to use it until I find something better because it gives me a slight glow but I would like a little more coverage.

It must be buffed on, in my opinion. Use a circular motion. It covers my broken blood vessels, most acne scarring and uneven color - in a sheer way - I'm 50. If you want to look like Mary Kay, this product is not for you! If you want light coverage that will look natural, you will love it. The Physicians Formula mineral product has a flatter look. This product has a bit of glow to it. Both of these products worked as well for me as bare minerals and at a fraction of the price.

I had actually giving up ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/15/07 I had actually giving up on wearing any type of foundation for quite some time now. My skin is not great - but I HATE the feel of most foundations on my skin. I saw this and gave it a try. First off - it says Mineral 'Sheers'...I think it gives adequate coverage, and I had absolutely no problem getting the powder to come out after a couple of smacks..it isn't even..but it is a powder - so you use the brush to even it out. I agree that this is a fantastic product, and I will recommend it to those that I know!

I adore this makeup! A ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/4/07 I adore this makeup! A little goes a long way, keeps your skin moisturized and exfoliated, and it works wonders. The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Oil Control Powder in Translucent works well over this in the middle of the day. The blush is also nice, and I use Cover Girl SimplyPowder foundation as a concealer/highlighter powder over the minerals near my eyes (I apply it with a small brush).YAY so natural...I highly recommend it. 5 stars.

I chose Neutrogena ... by Jeannette A in Porterville, CA on 4/30/07 I chose Neutrogena Mineral Sheers after trying other mineral makeup products, and find that the Mineral Sheers works the best for me. I have many allergies to products, and this Neutrogena product has really proven its worth! My skin doesn't break out with it on, even if I sleep with it on. As far as coverage, it's not supposed to be a total coverage product like the thicker makeup products; however, it seems to hide my lupus rash pretty well. Also, the dark circles that sometimes are under my eyes aren't as noticeable. Neutrogena Mineral Sheers provides the sheer coverage like I like, and I can't recommend it highly enough for those who want coverage, but not total occlusion.

I think this product is ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/9/07 I think this product is great. I use it every day, and it offers great natural coverage. I use concealer on my problem areas and dust this on before and after. It blends great and takes any redness out of my skin. The bronzer is good as well, but not amazing, and although the product is somewhat expensive it lasts SUCH a long time. It is hard at first to get the powder out, but realize you don't have to see it on the brush for it to work. It is in the bristles. It will take a couple times of use for the powder to really start coming out, but once it starts coming out smooth it will blend evenly easily. You could apply this makeup in the dark, (for real) just brush all over your face and no one would know. It is a great product, and I give it 5 stars for sure. :)

For those who are looking ... by Melissa in Undisclosed on 2/28/07 For those who are looking for a good, everyday foundation, steer clear of this. It doesn't offer any coverage and it doesn't blend well. It doesn't come out onto the brush very well either. It's extremely shimmery, too. It's not worth the price.

The powder does not come ... by vicki in San Bernardino, CA on 11/13/06 The powder does not come through the brush, so you can apply it at all, very disappointing. I finally had to break the container and put in something else to be able to use it, and it is really no better than using loose powder. I don't know why they claim it to be sheer or mineral type for that matter--good luck geting the powder out without having to break it.
