The old "Smooth Start" was better, they shouldn't have changed it. This is a nice shampoo, makes hair shiny but I would like a sleek straight finish and this doesn't deliver.

I hated this stuff, it actually made my hair really frizzy and that's after trying it a few times. It's not good.

A perfectly good shampoo with a pleasant and not-too-strong scent. I believe the smoothing ability is in the conditioner -- the shampoo is fine, but just gets you hair clean without any bad effects. A good everyday shampoo.

I have very fine, dry hair, and this shampoo really helps to prevent the frizzies. It does not dry out my hair. I use the Straight Ahead conditioner along with this. It does not weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy. Paraben-free.
