Use:  for the treatment of acne.

Directions

Use AcneResponse™ Daily Adult Acne Regimen every morning and evening to help keep skin clear. Step 1 Directions: use morning and night wet face and apply a small amount gently massage over entire face, avoiding eye area rinse thoroughly and pat dry follow with application of Step 2 if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application Step 3 Directions: use morning and night cleanse the skin thoroughly with Steps 1 and 2 before applying medication cover the entire affected area with a thin layer because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two times daily, if needed or as directed by a doctor if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day if going outside, use a sunscreen.  Allow product to dry, then follow direction in the sunscreen labeling.  If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a doctor

Warnings

For external use only. When using this product using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin.  If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. Keep out or reach of children.  If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. When using this product, avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen.

I would buy this product again and again by Sam tha Aircrewman in san diego, Ca on 8/16/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Hydrates Skin, Minimizes Pores, Soothing, Works Effectively Best Uses: Cystic Acne Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended I love this product. I had tried many different products and none have worked for me as well as this one. It has been frustrating however since Rite aid stopped carrying the product in stores near me. Thankfully I decided to try online :). Every person is different and what may work for one person may not always work for another.

I have suffered from horrible cystic acne for a year. This is by far the best OTC acne regimen that I've found that actually got rid of the acne cysts! By week two it got rid of my existing acne & by the time I hit day 30 I had zero acne cysts and my face never felt smoother! I had to subtract 1 star it did not remove the red acne scars. Overall GREAT product for the price!!

It works really well for treating cystic acne. It also helped my post acne scars to fade. I like the cleanser because it exfoliates but isn't too harsh. Be careful with the moisturizer though, if you use too much it will flake. Its better to let it dry before you try to put on makeup, but it does give sort of a matte finish. I also really like Neutrogenas Advanced Solutions kit.

I was a step away from ... by jenn in Undisclosed on 5/23/08 I was a step away from using Proactiv and I decided to go try a kit. I'm SO glad I did!! The first few nights my breakouts got really red after the step one and two. But within 4 or 5 days... CLEAR. Love it.

I have been to dermatologist after dermatologist and have tried every product under the sun. Proactiv was not very proactive. Anything given to me by the dermatologist never worked. Then I found this product. I have used it religiously for 1 1/2 years and my face has cleared up completely.

Age 43 - great product! ... by Kelly in Undisclosed on 3/22/08 Age 43 - great product! It did not take long to notice and my acne is hormonal. Some hints: 1. We all have different "oily" needs, so if your skin dries out from using it twice a day, use is once a day (a.m.) 2. Yes, the cleanser and lotion will bleach your cotton. Use wash cloths just for your face - try white one (or just use your hands). Let the lotion dry before putting on your cotton shirts (try brushing your teeth after you put the lotion on, and then get dressed). I believe it is bleaching your face also, but my freckles are still there (yeah, I love my freckles). Still unsure? Read the rest of the reviews!

I have tried ProActiv and prescription products, and nothing works as well as L'Oreal. My skin no longer breaks out and is much healthier looking in general: smoother skin tone, no redness, and no dry patches. I go through the cleanser faster than the toner and lotion, so I use L'Oreal's Pure Zone Pore Unclogging Scrub until I'm out of everything. L'Oreal will save your skin and your money!

-My Proactiv experience: ... by Veronica in Goleta, CA on 2/4/08 -My Proactiv experience: The cleanser and toner were somewhat weak. The lotion is great at keeping skin soft and refined, but was effective only if I mixed with a 10% b.p. cream. -My Clean and Clear kit experience: Using such a strong, harsh cleanser (10% b.p.), followed by a weak oily moisturizer made my skin peel. Over and over. -My Acne Free experience: The normal kit works OK. The lotion leaves skin looking pale and chalky. The Severe kit works OK, too (the cleanser is the best) but the 10% lotion is sort of oily, and the retinol cream did nothing for me. The L'Oreal kit is equal to or better than Proactiv. I combine the cleanser with a tiny bit of Derma-e microdermabrasion scrub. The cleanser(+scrub), toner, and lotion are just right for my skin! My ONLY complaints are about the lotion. It goes on like a slimy soap. Once dried, it is invisible and leaves a matte finish. However if you touch your face or disturb it at all, little bits of a white flaky film fall off. Not attractive!

This did not work for me ... by Deanna in Wolverine Lake, MI on 1/20/08 This did not work for me at all. I've been using Acne Free with great success, but if you're not careful the benzoyl peroxide in the lotion will bleach towels and the collars of cotton shirts. So I tried something different. With this L'Oreal product I broke out terribly at first, but wanted to give it more time to let my skin get used to it. After fighting off the first round of zits, all I did was keep getting more. I gave up and am back to Acne Free.

Have had acne for 10 years with poor results from a list of 30 plus products ranging from grocery store to drug store to mail order products. I read and study ingredients in all I try. I would have not really tried this product had I not read some of the other reviews and have not just had a horrible result from Murad. This showed great results in a week and still doing great. Has just enough benzoyl peroxide to do the job without being as harsh as a 5 or 10 percent solution. For the low price you need to try this product. I am so glad I did. No more searching for that "miracle" acne cure for me!!! Thank You

I was not very satisfied ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/2/08 I was not very satisfied with this product, the cleanser smelled funny, the toner was ok but the lotion is a whole different story. The "lotion" burned my skin and was thick and mask like. Plus, it had no sunscreen. It did not seem to help my acne either.

After the first use my ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/2/07 After the first use my face felt smooth and clean. Shortly thereafter it started peeling. I used it twice the first day and once the second - peeling each time and now it feels like my face has actually been burnt regardless of how much lotion (different lotion) I apply. I cannot say if it is effective at fighting acne. Based on the number of people who seem to love it, I'd say give it a try, but be forewarned!

I have tried Murad and ... by Julie in Coralville, IA on 10/30/07 I have tried Murad and Pro Activ; both were too harsh on my skin. It either dried it out or caused irritation bumps. This product is the best! I have had cystic acne for 8 years and it's finally under control. My skin feels smooth and I rarely break out! If I happen to break out, its only ONE pimple and it goes away quickly. It's amazing!

I am 35 years old and have tried everything from Proactiv, Philosophy, Biore and many others. After struggling with adult acne for almost a year I was ready to see a dermatologist when I saw this on drugstore.com and decided to try it after reading the reviews. Within a couple of days I noticed my skin was much better. I also use the Acne peel at least once a week or when that monthly pimple shows up. After being on this for a month, my skin is so much smoother and clearer. Highly recommend!

I have been a faithful ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 9/20/07 I have been a faithful Proactiv Solution user for the last 5 years. However, after just four days of using LOreals Acne Response system, I can already see more improvement with my adult acne than I was getting from Proactiv. It doesn't irritate my skin, and even helps control oil throughout the day. I do only use step 3 at night. I am so impressed that I had to actually write a review! I was skeptical because it is from LOreal, but they obviously know what they're doing!
