Use after toweling off from shower. Apply liberally and wait @ least 5-10 minutes before dressing. Odor not the greatest. However I found after continual daily use you don't notice the odor anymore. Gives a nice color and an even color. It doesn't look fake. Looks quite natural. If going on vacation and you start using this product 1-2 weeks prior it seems when you get in the sun you tan much quicker. Keep in mind though it is NOT a sunscreen.

I have dry skin and the rest of the self tanners I've tried dehydrated my skin. This product does, slightly, but is much more moisturizing than the others and it was inexpensive. There is a hint of "that" odor initially, but certainly not as bad as most and the smell leaves quickly.

I basically use the lotion on arms & face. It doesn't tan as darkly right away as does the Fake Bake brand, which is probably a good thing if you are rather fair skinned to start with.. All these type products need to be be cheaper in price though, I believe.

I have been using this for the past two years and it is really the best self-tanner I've used, and I have tried a lot! It doesn't stink nearly as much as the others and it's super easy to apply. It has never streaked and it doesn't look scaly when it fades. It wont give you a "dark" tan, but it gives a warm, natural looking color to your skin. It doesn't ever look orange on me either.

I've tried LOTS of different brands of gradual tanners/moisturizers and this is the best of the best. It smells great, doesn't streak, leaves skin soft and silky, and it turns you a golden, healthy shade of brown. I hope they keep this one around, it's the one I LOVE.

I used product with great reasults then thought I would go to self tanners with brozers. I am fair skinned and made me much too dark. I purchased expensive ones too. I went back to Hawaiian Tropic Island Glow. If you are fair skinned and have patience this if the one for you! The color is perfect. I use medium. LOVE IT AND HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON!

I originally started using this with great results. I then thought I would experiment with some of the self tinted bronzers. Used some high end products also. None gave me the natural color I wanted. This product in medium skin tones gives me a nice natural look. I am very fair skinned and just want a nice natural look. This is great. Also I am a young 63 and at our age we want to look good too. We still wear shorts and bathing suits!

I absolutely love this product. I have used several other self tanners and they took too long to dry and left orange marks on my towels even after several days of non-use. I need only use this every other day to keep a nice color on my legs.

I am very fair skinned and didn't want anything too dark. I have tried a lot of others without success. The only one I liked was Jergens Express but was too dark. Hawaiian Tropic color is just right for me. Just a nice natural color. I am pasty white and this adds color to my legs. Not for those who want a dark tan. The only flaw is that is seems to take a long time to dry.

Use daily for best results. Apply evenly on skin, as you would your daily moisturizer, allowing several minutes to dry prior to dressing. After each application wash your hands. You will begin to build a subtle island color within several days.
