I used to have UV gel nails, but I got tired of the constant trips to the salon. I asked tons of technicians if there was a technique that was an application applied after polish or french manicure and was as hard and long-lasting as UV gel nail color. This is it. I use OPI mainly, but after reading the Seche Vite reviews I decided to give it a try. I use OPI's chip skip, base coat, polish and then apply the Seche Vite after a minute or two. It's so glossy and thick, just like UV gel nails except I don't have to pay $40 every two weeks or spend time in a nail salon. I can't believe how fast this dries. I'm the type to ruin a mani-pedi within seconds of leaving a salon and this product prevents that.

I purchased this particular product after seeing all the great reviews and I was NOT disappointed. It's a little pricier than some of the top coats but TOTALLY worth it! Do as other reviewers say and let it go on THICK, while the lower coats are STILL WET. This product is magic, LONG LASTING and QUICK DRYING. I haven't had any bubbling even when counter-intuitively applied thickly over wet nails as the other reviewers recommend. I've started using this for my do-it-at-home manicures, as well to extend the life of my nail shop mani/pedi just before going to a wedding. I've been trying to paint my nails at home more, since these economic times are tough, and this product helps me to do my own super-quick mani/pedi that will dry quickly and let me get on with my life! I love it!

I have used this for over a dedcade. It is simply the best fast dry top coat available. Your polish will be dry, hardened, and shiny within minutes. It is high gloss as well.

Just about every manicurist I've been to uses this, and I always intended to buy it for myself, but kept forgetting. Finally bought it on Drugstore[@] and I'm happy I did! Now I don't have to wait forever for my nails to dry. Great product!

I have tried countless top coats and spent A LOT of money on them but I never found one that lasts or shines like Seche Vite! This top coat is self-leveling, which means that it will even itself out on the surface of the nail. It is also extremely durable and resists chips even when I push against the polish (my hands go through a lot of abuse). As I type this, I have had my manicure with Seche Vite for a week and not a single chip! The key is to apply while the nail polish is still wet - yes wet! If you don't it will shrink, which isn't too noticeable but still not desirable. I don't want the nail polish color to taint the clear Seche Vite so I use a different top coat on top of my color (OPI base and top coat if you were wondering). Then I apply 1 coat of Seche Vite while the paint is still wet. Then I apply another when that previous coat is dry. It dries super quick so its not a hassle at all. The only bad thing is the odor but I'm over it because of the way it works. BUY THIS NOW! :)

I've gone through countless topcoats even after using this one (in order to find a cheaper alternative) to no avail. Hands down the most effective topcoat, my manicures always last days longer than anyone else I know. Coincidence? Don't think so.

It can take a little time to get used to using the product. However, once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple to use. The best part about it is the fact that it dries so quickly and thoroughly. The time it takes to dry can vary depending on how many coats of nail polish you have underneath. It should take 30 min max. to dry thoroughly. Once dry, no object can ruin your polish and it also hardens.
