Fecal scent? definitely not. Smells like a cookie, tastes like a cookie. I have been using these for 2 years. They have helped my IBS by absorbing the extra water in the intestine. Not only that but they are partly responsible for my being able to lower my cholesterol from 220 to 185 and keep it there with NO medications. My doctor was amazed when I told her the only changes I have made is to take these fiber wafers daily and take a 30 minute walk every day. Because I take them at lunch they also help me to feel fuller and eat less.

No...they don't smell ...

No...they don't smell like fecal matter. No...they're not chalky if you have water with them. What they are is a good tasting fiber supplement for those of us who don't get enough in our regular diet. I prefer the apple ones because they're lighter tasting and have a crispier crunch. it's just like eating a cookie. I've had all different kinds of fiber and find this one as close to a treat as you can get.

These are a better way of getting fiber than having to drink the powder, but they do have a bit of that artificially-too-sweet taste to them. But let's be honest -- we're not buying these 'cause they're cookies. We're buying them 'cause they're not-too-terrible-tasting fiber supplements. Don't forget to have plenty of liquid to swish them out of your teeth.

These are a great alternative to mixes and powders, and you can eat them anytime or anywhere! I originally purchased the Cinnamon Flavor (which were great) but they were out of stock, so I tried this Apple Crisp variety and I think I like this one even better.

Adults & children 12 years & older: Take 2 wafers with 8oz of your favorite hot or cold beverage at the first sign of irregularity. Can take up to 3 doses daily if needed or as recommended by a doctor. Generally produces effect in 12-72 hours.

Children 6 to 11 years: One wafer (1/2 of Adult dosage) with 8oz of their favorite beverage, up to 3 doses daily.

Under 6 years: Consult a doctor.
