Sometimes a "little dab" is not enough. Overall the best I have used, and have been using for many years.

Provides light hold. If you want the slicked down "Mad Men" look then use a little more. Other wise, "A little dab'll do ya!"

I have used Brylcreem for over 40 years.

I use this product every day. It is the only reasonbly priced product I found on the market that will provide a natural sheen to my dark wavy hair and lasts all day. It will not leave your hair stiff and crispy like many gels do. I wish they would develop a better fragrance for it though, the smell of it is not appealing.

I have tried all the high end products and I keep returning to my husbands Brylcreem. I have long red hair. My hair is my crowning glory, and Brylcreem makes it shine and look fabulous and it holds it's wave, Plus I like the smell. Just wish they'd make a smaller tube for traveling. I can only find this large tube. But, it's absolutely the winner. Everyone always asks me what I put on my hair, when I tell them their eyes go wide.

I have tried a great many products to control my very thick and coarse hair. Gels don't hold all day and dry out my hair and pomades and waxes get sucked into my hair by day's end making them ineffective. Brylcreem has worked wonderfully in that it controls without being heavy, sticky or crunchy and it stays in most of the day. My hair sucks Brylcreem up also, but I am able to maintain some hold in spite of it. I use it daily with towel dry hair and just comb it roughly into place. Works great for me!
