I am a faithful user, in spite of the smell which, by the way, isn't AWFUL...it's just not good. It's a bit of a chemical smell but it does dissipate as your hair dries. I have grown to like it & it is well worth it. Everyone I have recommended it to agrees as does the stylist who first recommended it to me 6 years ago. I am constantly highlighting, re-coloring and re-highlighting my hair & have never once had a split end b/c I use this product every day. When I highlight my hair and forget to use it, I know it.

I love this product. It helps smooth my hair and makes it more silky. Helps detangle too. All without making it oily or weighing it down. Nice scent too.

Like other reviewers I agree there's a little funk in the smell. It reminds me of old fashioned egg cream drink. However I am willing to overlook the funk because the life drops work! My hair has felt ratty and straw like. This leave in (I use in conjunction with a rich moisturizer) has made a miraculous difference. My ends look fuller and are less tangled. After a week I'm a fan.

i don't like the way this product smells at first when i put it on, but it does improve the health of my hair-- a lot. that's why i gave it four stars instead of five. in my opinion, it's worth dealing with the smell., because it dissipates. i have been coloring my hair for years now and that tends to damage the hair. this product , however, makes my hair feel like virgin hair.

I have naturally wavy, color treated hair that I am growing out. Before I found this product it was almost impossible for me to wash my hair and just let it dry without the top layer frizzing. Now, using the tiniest pea sized amount, I have soft waves. Love the shampoo and conditioner, too.

Let me just preface this with I'm lucky to have absolutely GORGEOUS hair. It's shiny, it's healthy, it has bounce - I've been nick-named "The Breck Girl" by co-workers. This stuff is SSOOOO horrible not only would I never buy it - but I would throw out a free sample - which is how I acquired this garbage in the first place. First the smell - my hair smelled like a wet dog after a bath. My hair felt AND looked beyond dry and fly away with frizzy ends after use. It actually looked like I had brown straw on my head. As for styling it - it seemed to have some sort of reaction to my product - Phyto - as it would NOT allow me to style my hair as normal. End result - It was flat. Lifeless. No bounce. No shine. I couldn't curl it. I couldn't straighten it. It just went everywhere I didn't want it to go. While it felt very light weight maybe it weighed my hair down although I did NOT use that much. Don't waste your money on this junk. Confused how people are rating this product so well.

I got this as a sample in my last order, which is a good thing because I would have been very upset had I paid money for it. This did next to nothing, except maybe add a little shine to the frizzies it caused. It did nothing to smooth my hair out or make it look healthy...but worst of all is the smell! I usually can handle most any scent in a beauty product but I have never in my life smelled a beauty product of any kind that smelled this bad...my first impression was actually dead fish! Yikes! Once the product is on, the smell disperses, but for a moment or two, my eyes were watering. I've never been impressed with any Terax product, but this takes the cake. Don't recommend.
