Use approximately one tablespoon whenever desired.  Swish or gargle thoroughly for 30 seconds and spit out.  For best results, us with Biotene Dry Mouth Toothpaste, especially before going to bed. Do not use if seal on cap is removed.

This mouthwash is a ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/18/06 This mouthwash is a pretty good product overall, didn't have any problems with it, left my mouth feeling refreshed and clean. The only thing that I didn't prefer about it was the taste, a bit too sweet, but everything else about it was pretty good. I think that I could probably tolerate it, and would probably buy it again. Nice product.

On my last visit to the ... by Scott in Belleville, IL on 11/12/06 On my last visit to the dentist, the comment made by my dentist after my cleaning was that I had such nice teeth! A year prior I was being warned that if things didn't improve that I would need some type of super cleanings that would take two visits at a time and are generally uncomfortable. Main differences: cleanings every 4 months (instead of every 6), Glide dental floss, Biotene rinse and toothpaste (used before bed). I'll use the floss and Biotene 2-4 times/week on average, but it's made all the difference. The dentist actually had to check my gum depth twice because there had been such improvement.

Harsh products just worsened the problem overall. Biotene is so gentle, non-drying, and leaves my mouth with a true, lasting freshness. No need to "hurry up" to get it over with- a pleasure to gargle/swish for the recommended 30 seconds, or to use as often as desired. I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but a little goes a long way. No comparison to mass-marketed products. Taste is slightly sweet, very neutral, with a gentle mint flavor (all natural). I'm so thankful to have found these amazing products- I'll never go back to harsh oral care products. Thank you, Biotene!

Super product! Great ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/7/06 Super product! Great non-burning minty taste and very effective on preventing chronic throat irritation or mouth sores. I have tried other typical mouthwash with no effect on my inflamed tonsils. It was recommended to me by my dentist because it has enzymes and therefore kills more bacteria as well as yeast, which benefits me because of my pocketed tonsils the harbor all sorts of yuck without nightly gargling.

Just wrote review on ... by Sherrie in Crofton, MD on 10/2/05 Just wrote review on toothpaste. This is a great product! It's mild and has no alcohol. I have problems and go for 3 month cleanings. Since using this and the toothpaste together, my gums have remained healthier and pinker in color. The day I stop either product I notice the gums get a bit redder again. One month I got a bit ridiculous and during the night, half asleep, having to go to the bathroom, Id quickly swoosh a bit in my mouth. I noticed a bigger difference. I tend to develop plaque very quickly on my bottom 4 front teeth (front/back) so I definitely can attest to this mouthwash helping with that (WHEN I'm FAITHFUL).I notice when I use the toothpaste how much it helps but when I don't use it, my gums get redder. For me, honestly if I stick to proxy brush, the toothpaste and this mouthwash, I'm in good shape. My hygienist is tickled with my stability and control with the gums. I have since also quit smoking which definitely helped as well. Great product! I recommend it.

I'm not happy with this ... by Cynthia in Matawan, NJ on 4/5/05 I'm not happy with this mouthwash. It had the opposite effect of what it was intended for. My mouth became so dry after using it that my tongue kept sticking to the roof. It also burned my tongue. Very surprising, since the toothpaste gel is amazing and works like a charm.

I seldom write reviews ... by Alexander in Aventura, FL on 1/17/05 I seldom write reviews for products, but this is by far the best oral product I have ever bought! This is my 3rd month with it and I really wanted to wait some time before writing a review to make sure I give good information. The most pleasant oral rinse of all time; great almost neutral taste, and incredible feeling....it wakes-up your mouth for the whole day without that stinging Listerine-like taste. You can have your coffee or drink minutes after rinsing with it without any weird after-taste. If you talk too much (like I do :) ) you need this product; it literally lubricates your mouth to keep talking without the dry feeling. I bought all Biotene products, and I am amazed by all so far.

I suffer from dry-mouth ... by Steven in Mountain View, CA on 7/21/04 I suffer from dry-mouth caused by medications (pills and inhaled), so keeping my mouth wet is critical so that I don't get additional infections. While the taste isn't candy, this wash certainly helps with the feeling of constant dryness. My dentist also tells me that he noticed that my tongue, inner cheeks, saliva, and gums appear more normal than the time before I used this wash (less thick and red). Likewise, I use toothpaste without SLS-like detergents. Also may want to try the Oral Balance gel when things get really dry.
