Dear Parent(s): Little Remedies® is proud to provide you with this essential First-Aid Poison Treatment and Information for the safety of your child(ren). No one can anticipate when an emergency will occur, which is why this is so important as a first line of prevention. This product contains CharcoAid® G Super Activated Charcoal. While activated charcoal is the first choice recommended by National Poison Control Centers for emergency home treatment of most accidental poisonings, CharcoAid® G is two to four times more effective than activated charcoal! In the event of an accidental poisoning, the administration of CharcoAid® G will significantly reduce the time the toxin ingestion by approximately one half*. In addition CharcoAid® G has been shown in clinical trails to be superior to activated charcoal and is easier to swallow, because the granules have been specially formulated to improve taste and mouth-feel.** However all experts agree that in the event of an accidental poisoning and before administering any remedy, you should first contact a Poison Control Center or hospital emergency personnel to obtain the recommend course of treatment. As an added precaution, we urge all parents to fill in the emergency phone numbers on this package, and to read and familiarize themselves with all pertinent information about poison prevention.
