Indications

For the prevention and treatment of the nausea, vomiting or dizziness with motion sickness.

Directions

To prevent motion sickness, the first dose should be taken one half to one hour before starting activity. Adults: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 6-12 years old: 1/2-1 tablet every 6-8 hours, not to exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 2-6 years old: 1/4-1/2 tablet every 6-8 hours, not to exceed 1-1/2 tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Store at controlled room temperature 20° to 25°C (68° to 77° F).

Do not take this product unless directed by a doctor if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, or, glaucoma or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Do not give to children under 2 unless directed by a doctor.  May cause drowsiness; alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Avoid alcohol beverages while taking this product. Do not take this product if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers, with out first consulting your doctor. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Not for frequent or prolonged use except on the advice of a doctor. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or the Poison Control Center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.

I take the chewable ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/12/08 I take the chewable version of this all the time and it works well- it causes sleepiness of course. The one thing I don't like about it is that it numbs my tongue as I chew the tablet. This goes away, but its not a nice feeling and seems rather scary. I would rather chew these and deal with the numb tongue than try to take the non-chewable without water. The taste on those is so horrid, it is almost enough to make me vomit at just the taste (which is almost impossible to get from your mouth).

Great Product!! My 2 year ... by Juanita in Hagerstown, MD on 11/10/06 Great Product!! My 2 year old gets car sick all the time, even for a short ride. However, we only use this when we will be driving around doing many errands, or on a long trip. We crush the required dose (kitchen mortar and pestle works great) and then we add it to a small amount of orange juice, apricot nectar, or whatever about 30 minutes before we leave. Then we go and everybody's happy!!!

I have a son who is 4 ... by Brenda in Grand Rapids, MI on 8/8/06 I have a son who is 4 years old, and since he was two, he gets carsick when we travel more than a half hour. I bought this and give him half of it whenever we are going away too far, and he doesn't complain of a tummy ache at all. If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't even want to go away!! He doesn't like the taste, but it's better to feel good than worry about the taste!

Cannot recommend this ... by Elizabeth D in Blackfoot, ID on 7/15/06 Cannot recommend this highly enough. I chew two just slightly, then put pieces under my tongue, to be absorbed directly into my system, making the medication work even faster, with relief of even severe nausea within 10 to 15 minutes. I have Crohn's disease, and have successfully used this product for many years without adverse effects or loss of effectiveness. As effective as Rx medication given to me by injection when in hospital.

Do yourself a favor and ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/6/05 Do yourself a favor and just buy the regular Dramamine pills. The pills are so bitter, and the taste just stays in your mouth even after you try to wash it away with gallons of water.
