I really liked this to prevent damage but it did not add much shine. I had to be careful with the amount of product I used because too much gave it this strange lumpy texture. Nothing that couldn't be brushed evenly out with a boar hair brush..But wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I use a wheat filler type shampoo/conditioner and I don't think it mixed well with it. I am going to try an Aussie volume shampoo next to see if it will work. This stuff lasts forever it seems too. My next bottle of leave in will bring my back to Aussie's Hair Insurance. My hair is too dry naturally to keep up with the clarifying shampoo all the time. It wasn't a total bust. Try it ! I think it would work great on someone who had thicker springy stranded hair. I have baby cornsilk thin but really thick in density(tangle mania). If thats your hair type you may like the Insurance version instead.

I really don't use any products on my hair at all. I try to only wash it every other day to keep it healthy and protect it. I have incredibly THIN and straight hair, which tends to be REALLY FRIZZY no matter what I do. But this product has really REALLY helped my frizz situation. It leaves NO residue, smells GREAT, and is available for a GREAT price. I see no need to buy the expensive stuff - this is a new necessity in my morning routine!!!

I use it before I blow dry and while I use my hair straightener. It does make your hair smell nice and makes it smooth, so it is doing its job.

This is one of my favorite products, and I will continue to order it as long as drugstore.com continues to sell it. Love it!!

Great stuff. Makes my hair nice a smooth when I blow-dry it straight. Whenever I use Aussie products, my hair stylist always comments on my hair being so healthy, so that's how I know this is good stuff!

No obvious "smoothening" effects, it does keep my hair from getting all dry and frizz-like when I blow dry, and leaves it with a nice soft feel. It's probably the best heat protector I've found in this price range.
