The inside scoup for years about Barbasol "shave" cream is that it is really a hand cream! Everyone I know uses it for their dry hands. I have also discovered that it is by far the best "medicine" for sunburn relief. It is also superb for any kind of rash. This product was unavailable for a few years; I am very happy that Drugstore.com sells this FANTASTIC must-have product!

My grandmother reccommended this. I have always used this as a moisturizer because of the lanoline. It has been hard to find and now the new formula doesn't include lanoline.

Whatever you do please do not spend your money on this "garbage in a tube"! Barbasol set this up to sound like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not even close! I shave my head, face and so on in the shower. It had zero consistency, no staying power, didn't provide a close shave at all and you had to use gobs of it for it to stay on. It didn't assist my razor's performance like some creams and afterwards my skin just felt awful! Regular Barbasol in a can is FAR superior to this (as far as Barbasol goes of couse) and costs less. So if you just have to use Barbasol stick with the stuff in the can . . . I threw this in the can after one experience!

I was wary at first but after using it, I have to say that it is as good as or possibly even better than the original Barbasol brushless shaving cream. Not only do I highly recommend this product but I promise that you won't be diappointed. In my opinion, there is no better shaving cream on the market.
