Great for blister, also good for small by sammu in ny, ny on 9/29/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Healing Best Uses: Daily Use, Quick Fix Describe Yourself: Athletic, Klutz Bottom Line: recommended I found that these are also great for small cuts. I had a small but bad cut that was just gushing blood, and it took for ever to get it to stop! (four paper towels, two bandages, and four pieces of gauze later! the gauze was the only thing that would stop the bleeding at all!) I had to change the gauze earlier today but was upset to find that i had run out of it! the only thing i had left was my blister band aids and regular band aids! I decided to try the blister ones. I was afraid they wouldn't work, but when i put it on (after dabbing off the new stream of blood that was rolling down my foot again)it stopped the bleeding immediately! It sealed it up nicely too. and it stayed on after my shower! XD I'm going to leave in on for a few more days to let the cut heal more. its really only a small scratch. My friend said she'd cut herself in the same spot, and it just happens to be prone to gushing blood...

2 stars because by Annabell in New York on 7/20/08 Cons: Doesn't Work Describe Yourself: Athletic I managed to get (1) of these things to stick to the heel of my foot. I followed the directions on the packet to the hilt! I even took the advice of another reviewer by heating them in the microwave for a couple of seconds-- NOTHING! I will post again after I see how well the (1) i was able to stick on my heel works. I hope I didn't waste my money ~sigh~

helps heal surgery scars too by Becky in Dublin OHIO on 7/5/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Healing, Soothing Best Uses: Daily Use Bottom Line: recommended I used these for blisters in the past and loved them. I have a surgical scar that has keloids on it. It is about two inches and was red, bumpy ...painful, and itchy. The scar is two years old but I had read that silicone pads could help scars to heal. They cost a fortune so I decided to try the blister pads. After wearing for two weeks my scar is noticably smoother and not as red. I leave it on for 3days then let it breathe for a day then put a new one on. I think it might take a couple months to get the full benefit. Anyway this is an alternate use for the blister bandaide

Wow! These are even ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/19/08 Wow! These are even better than I thought they would be! I used to keep moleskin in my golf bag for blisters - no more! These are now a required accessory. I walk when I play golf and like to go sockless with some of my shoes. This can be a bad combination with new shoes. I got a blister on my heal, used these to protect it and was amazed at how well they worked. I wore the same shoes and had no discomfort; the Band-Aids stayed on - in fact I had to peel them off after I forgot and left them on in the shore. The padding was terrific. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these.

I always joke about having Princess and the Pea feet because I blister SO easily. The Healing Blister cushions are a lifesaver for vacations when you're doing a lot of walking.

I've even had to use duct tape on one trip. These stick better and of course, are much more comfortable. I can actually get excited about a product as unglamorous as this because they really work.

I don't know what to make ... by Elizabeth in Saint Louis, MO on 7/4/07 I don't know what to make of the comments that they don't stay on, as these have saved me from pain and infection through several blister events. Perhaps it's a question of which part of the body is covered. My biggest problem for blisters is the back of my right ankle. My feet must be slightly different in size, causing shoes on the right foot to slip up and down on the back of the ankle. When I'm on business trips I do a lot of walking, most of it in pumps. Before I used this product, evenings in hotel rooms were agony, especially taking off pantyhose. This product works very well for me, and I always have it in my handbag and in my travel kit. I've saved some travel companions from vacation blisters too. I would like advance notice if this product will ever be discontinued. I'd like to buy several cases, so I always have them.

Every spring I bust out ... by Laura in Undisclosed on 5/19/06 Every spring I bust out with the sockless feet, and inevitably I get my yearly round of blisters that never fail to break in my feet for the summer. The back of my heel is a favorite and most troublesome spot, and I bought these thinking they would do the trick. I'm assuming if I hadn't tried to wear them simultaneously with my blister inducing shoes they would have stayed on more effectively, and probably actually gotten rid of my blisters. But alas, they would peel off, exposing the back of my foot, again, to painful rubbing. I just wish the adhesive was a little tougher--I tried putting them on underneath a layer of regular band-aids, which worked for a little while, but not only wastes band-aids, but also just causes this twisted, crumpled band-aid-y mess in my shoes.

The best blister band-aid ... by Hannah in Undisclosed on 4/24/06 The best blister band-aid EVER!! I get blister from every pair of shoes I own, even my old ones!! I was sick of constantly buying band-aids, and having them fall off after walking for an hour. I got a sample of this band-aid in one of my magazines, and not at a better time. I, of course had a blister on my heel. I put it on right away, and went back to work. It stayed all day and in the shower the next day, it was even hard to pull off. Will be buying boxes of these!!

These saved our feet at ... by Sandi in Undisclosed on 3/7/05 These saved our feet at Disney World! I walked too much the first day in tennis shoes and had some whopper blisters. I was limping all the way back to the car and SO miserable; it felt like my feet were on fire. When we got back to the hotel, I decided I'd try these out (I had picked up a box ahead of time) and they were INSTANT relief! I was able to wear any shoes (including the ones that caused the blisters) without any discomfort. I recommend them to everyone I can now, and will not travel to Disneyworld again without enough for our entire group!!!

As long as you follow the ... by Jay S in So St Paul, MN on 2/25/05 As long as you follow the directions - heat them up in your hand for a couple minutes (or even the microwave for 15 seconds... be careful) they stick really well. I'm guessing the people that have complained didn't follow the directions. Also, you don't need to use any salve/cream/etc. with them. They work great, and usually stay put 3 days at a time, even including showering 2x a day and spending time in the swimming pool. I love these things!
