I've used it all! ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 10/6/05 I've used it all! Disposables, Venus, Sensor...and this is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Nothing gets your legs, etc. smoother! Ladies, steal this one for yourselves...the men are onto something here!

This razor out-performs ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 9/25/05 This razor out-performs any razor that is specially designed for women. I've been using this baby to shave my legs ever since it hit the market many years ago. I've tried various new women's razors as they're always improving upon them (or so they claim) but always come back to this one. It's the best, hands down. Gets my legs smoother and silkier than anything else out there. Ladies, if you haven't tried this, do so now. You won't be disappointed.

I am generally pretty good about nicks and cuts, but when using the Mach3, I would pretty much nick myself everytime I shave. Razors last longer than Schick's products, but I prefer Schick's three bladed razor.

I am trying all the top ... by Bryan in Undisclosed on 11/8/03 I am trying all the top line razors and this was on the list. It gave a good clean shave, but I found two problems quickly. The head is too thick and bulky. I found it hard to shave closely around my goatee design. The blade life appears to be less than anything I have ever seen. After about 5 days it was starting to drag where I usually get this around day 7-10 with the other razors (Atra, Quattro, Excel, disposables, etc.). I also don't like the weird handle. It almost feels like the razor is upside down. This is not worth the premium price.

I have a terrible time ... by Jeff in Brooklyn, NY on 12/13/99 I have a terrible time shaving without getting nicks and cuts. I guess I qualify as someone who has "sensitive skin". The Mach 3 works great -- close shave with no cuts and nicks. I recommend it highly.

It works much better than any other two-blade razor (including Gillette) I have used. I would and have recommended this to friends.

The Gillette Mach 3 Razor ... by Derrick in Undisclosed on 12/12/99 The Gillette Mach 3 Razor gave me the closest shave of any disposable razor I've used. It also provided a close shave every time with absolutely no irritation or in-grown hairs. I highly recommend this razor.

It glided easily over bumps and curves, shaving very closely around everything. I had no irritation whatsoever from it, and I would use it again. I think the price is a bit high, but the cheaper disposable razors I usually use are vastly inferior in their quality and results. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Generally, I like the ... by Scot in Milwaukie, OR on 12/11/99 Generally, I like the shave I get with the Mach 3. It's close, without nicks or burning. The only problem I find with the razor is that the head is large and makes it difficult to zero in on exactly where the hairline is. I have a goatee, and I've found it a little tough to see where to start around the edges. Other than that, I like it. Not sure I'd pay that price, though. I currently use disposable razors at less cost with comparable results. I'd have no problem recommending this razor to a friend with the caveat about the trimming.

Wow! Gillette has created ... by Thomas in Edinboro, PA on 12/10/99 Wow! Gillette has created a near perfect razor. This razor gives the smoothest, closest, most comfortable shave I've ever had. And with this incredible closeness, there's virtually no irritation. The razor is held at a different angle than I'm used to, but after adjusting to that I found it very easy to use. A third blade initially sounded like a sales gimmick, but it really makes a big difference in the razor's performance.

When I received the ... by Steven S in Perry, MI on 12/6/99 When I received the Gillette Mach 3 razor, I was somewhat skeptical after many failed attempts with similar razors. My opinion quickly changed after using the razor, and I am satisfied that this is a razor of quality. I did not experience any irritation as the razor pivoted around every curve of my face leaving me with a clean shave. I have carefully examined this razor and would classify it as a durable, high-performance razor.

The Gillette Mach 3 Razor ... by Marc J in Brookline, MA on 12/5/99 The Gillette Mach 3 Razor has some good innovations. First, a blue strip fades over time to tell you when to change the blade. This is great for those of us so asleep in the morning that we can't remember when we put on the new blade. Second, the handle shape makes holding and maneuvering the razor much easier. Unfortunately, the Mach 3 does not give a close shave, especially if you only shave with the grain like I do. The head is too big (almost twice as tall as a "normal" razor) to shave effectively under one's nose. Because the blade was made as maneuverable as possible, the razor won't stay tight against your face. Thus, the shave is not as close as with the Sensor or Sensor Excel. In the end, I would stay stick with the Sensor or Sensor Excel for the best shave.

It was cool. While the ... by Richard in Brooklyn, NY on 12/4/99 It was cool. While the unusual design takes some getting used to, the shave is excellent. I have very sensitive skin, and I usually shave in a hurry. Needless to say I can only use the best blades on my skin or I spend the day suffering. I am pleased to say that this razor is superb. Close, smooth, and non-irritating shaves each time. Definitely a keeper. You have a new customer.

The Mach 3 gave me a ... by Rob H in South Boston, MA on 12/2/99 The Mach 3 gave me a better shave than the Sensor Excel I was using before. I especially like the razor's range of pivot; it makes it very easy to shave around the chin and nose. I would definitely recommend the Mach 3 to a friend.
