I am 40 years old, and after 16 years of using prescription/name brand products for my acne - have finally found the one that works for me. Twice a day I wash my face with Aqua Glycolic face wash and use toner. Then 10 minutes later, I spread Persa-gel onto my face and let dry for 20 minutes. FInish my routine with Olay Total Effects Moisturizer and my skin has changed forever - NO MORE ACNE after so many years. It is a miracle!

I expected better and faster results but overall it does the job.

I've been using OTC acne meds on and off for 40 years. I've also tried several prescription meds. I have found that a combination of a salicilic acid toner followed by a benzoyl peroxide cream works best for me. Persa-Gel 10 is as effective as any other cream I've tried at a lower price.

I use to use Retin-A from the dermatologist but as my acne became less I decide when I ran out of my prescription I would buy something from the drugstore to save a little money and if it didn't work I always had my refill px. It definately works but don't use to much for it will dry out your skin, it's great because it is so strong without a prescription!!!

Works great just using it once a day. Does dry skin but a simple mousterizer can fix that.

I had some acnes on my back, I guess from sweating, this product worked great for me.

This product over a week made my pores smaller and my skin much clearer. Give it a chance and don't use to much or it will dry out your skin. I use it in the mornings and at night before bed and it's done wonders.

So i guess im your average teen, i get occasional/mild acne and gets pretty stressed. About 3 months ago i had THE worst acne. I started wearing foundation and such but those still didnt help. What i decided to do changed my life. I researched a bit and figured out that to get rid of my acne i should: Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize,and occasionally use a treatment. So i did just that, i bought persa gel 10(this), a biore pore minimizing mousturizer, Deep cleansing Oil by DHC(removes makeup), and an expensive soothing apricot toner from elemis. So i used all of them except the persa gel for about a month and so great improvements. When i first got the gel i didnt read the instructions and just slathered it on. I was horrified the next morning, my oilyish face was dry! The next time i used the gel i READ the instructions and applyed a small dab after using my toner before bed. That morning i cleansed ,toned,mostiurized my face and was amazed. My skin looked AMAZING!!!! Ever since then i use a small dab on my problem spots before bed, and most pimple are gone! on the toughys i will apply a small amount more and it might take 2-3 days but it will be all clear! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH ACNE BECAUSE UNLIKE OTHER PRODUCTS.......IT WORKS!!!

Overall this was a good bang for my buck. I used it in the evenings on whiteheads that had appeared and i found the next morning that zits were alot smaller and less oily. This product does what it says and is not super expensive. In all i was pretty happy with it.
