For the treatment and prevention of acne pimples.

Directions

Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times a day Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor.  If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. Use to prevent new pimples from forming Keep tightly closed.  Keep away from heat.

Do not use on broken skin on large areas of the body When using this product apply to affected areas only avoid contact with the eyes, lips and mouth with other topical acne medications, at the same time or immediately following use of this product, increased dryness or irritation of the skin may occur.  If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and ask a doctor if excessive skin irritation develops or increases. Keep out of reach of children.  In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Excellent reults by PK in Chicago on 8/21/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Minimizes Pores, Works Effectively Best Uses: Adult Acne Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended I have had excellent results with this product and use it every night, even if my skin is clear because I find not only does this treat my adult acne but minimizes pore size and prevents so well my skin is clear. I've tried many products and find the sulfer-based products, such as this one, are more effective on my skin than benzyol peroxide or salicylic acid products. I use it at night only and am overwhelming pleased with the results I could never obtain with any other product.

Sure, it reduces oil in your t-zone area. But it sure as [*] doesn't reduce anything else! After three weeks of use, the pimples in the same area didn't go away, they weren't even reduced in size. Everything stayed, but the oil. Not to mention, the terrible odor and greasy fake-looking tint. I squeezed the container one day to apply it, all that came out was oil. How gross is that? That was the turning point for me, when I finally threw out the disgusting product. Don't waste your money, this product is ghastly.

It does seem to take a while to dry out a pimple and reduce its size, but I have found that it is more effective, for me, than a benzoyl peroxide cream (10%). I like the tint to it, also. Because it absorbs/dries quickly, I think it helps to keep oil away during the rest of the day, too.

I really like this ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/13/08 I really like this product. It keeps my little bumps down, and the tint of it works okay on my fair skin. It does give me only a couple of seconds to quickly blend so that it doesn't show on my face.

This didn't work for ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/2/08 This didn't work for me... I used this for the first time with scar zone A. I put each product on one side of my face because I was eager to try them both out and I wanted to compare the results, the scar zone A diminished all the pimples I applied it to, and the Clearasil product didn't even dry out the pimples that it was applied to. I didn't notice any offensive smell from the Clearasil, but I was pretty surprised by my findings; after reading all the great reviews I really expected the sulfur treatment to outshine the scar zone A, which uses salicylic acid, green tea and silicone as active ingredients. Everyone's skin is different and responds differently to products. I had been using benzoyl peroxide for years, but it was drying out my skin and sometimes just didn't work. If you dont have success with sulfur try Scar Zone A, it's gentle and it works very well.

I had a bad case of adult ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/27/07 I had a bad case of adult acne all of a sudden at 43 years old. Still a few spots but much much better. I can not use any type of moisturizer on my face else I get permanent pimples. This product is shrinking pimples I had for years. I had like permanent irritation or pimples on my forehead. Recommended. I can't believe anything worked on that stuff.

I've been using this ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 10/16/07 I've been using this product for years, when I get a pimple or blemish I cleanse the area and apply the Clearasil acne control cream immediately. Instantly I feel it working, swelling and tenderness subside and by the next day the pimple is almost gone. I've never used anything that was so effective and fast. It's cheap and works, so before you go and buy the expensive products give it a try, really.

I've generally employed ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 4/23/07 I've generally employed benzoyl peroxide to spot treat blemishes, but wanted to see if I could find something that works as well, but was less damaging to my sensitive skin. I was surprised to see that within a day this stuff dries out even a larger pimple. Especially good for whiteheads. You should know that this doesn't blend very well, even for pale skin. I use it under makeup or at night.

I've tried this product ... by Shannon C in EAGLE, WI on 3/30/07 I've tried this product on numerous blemishes over the past year; and for me it shrinks the blemish (which are due to monthly hormonal changes), but it doesn't make it go away. I can still feel the 'dirt or impurities' beneath my skin which still makes for a bad complexion, just not with the red irritated blemishes. Perhaps it jsut wasn't intended for the side effects of PMS.

After a massive surprise ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 9/9/06 After a massive surprise breakout session during the summer, I panicked and bought this. It shrank my pimples, but didn't make all of them go completely away; the smaller, red annoying ones that made may face blotchy looking all went away, and the big problem ones got smaller. The product streaks a lot, and doesn't really match my complexion [I have tan skin] the smell is kinda icky, and by the end of the day the scent vanishes and you smell a little like sulfur. It also dries out your skin, so I've been trying to figure out how to put oil free lotion AND this on top of it. My complexion definitely looks MUCH better than it did before I put it on, so it's definitely worth a try =)

I have Extremely ... by jenny in Undisclosed on 8/25/06 I have Extremely Sensitive, Oily, acne-prone skin, and have tried everything... One Day I came across this product and noticed that it treated acne with no benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid (barely helps my pimples and does not stop my oil or prevented acne. I tried it at night (yes it smells sorta funky but its nothing that serious) and the next morning my pimples healed so well! This worked perfectly and i never had oil skin again! This works so well on oily skin. I reccomend it, but be careful those with dry or combo skin--it is drying. Overall, I love it and am finally seeing clear skin after suffering from acne during high school! It's worth the price, though the bottle may seem small, but it works, and is truly magic!
