Everyone seems to love this soap, but for me it leaves a terrible residue and leaves me feeling far from clean.

Basis is the best soap I've ever used.I take at least 2 showers a day and the bar lasts much longer than other bars so it's well worth the extra cost. It's hard to find in the stores ...thank god for Drugstore .com

This bar soap is so fantastic..and while its hard to find everywhere but Drugstore.com, it is worth the purchase and shipping. Silky, non-drying soap that really cleans. Who needs shower gels??!!!

This is the best bath bar we have ever used. We have even tried some moisterizing shower gels that end up leaving our skin dryer without feeling clean. This leaves our skin soft and clean feeling without leaving any ring in the tub. We use much less lotions and moisterizers when using this vitamin bar. We do not need a separate facial cleanser as this is better than any others we have used. We have even tried other Basis bars and this Vitamin bar is by far the best. It saves money and gives us healthier looking skin. It's our golden skin care.

I have used this soap for over ten years. My daughter's pediatrician suggested it when she was in high school. My skin always feels clean and refreshed when I use basis Vitamin Bar.

The skin on my hands tends to dry out and crack to the point of bleeding, especially in the winter or cold months. Basis soap was suggested to my mother by my grandmother many years ago. When my mother suggested it to me, I tried it. Basis Vitamin Bar started helping right away. I have not used another soap since. It keeps my skin hydrated and so soft. Thank you for this product... please don't ever stop stocking it!

It's okay. Probably really good for people with acne-prone skin and such. Definitely not good for people with "shiny" faces alone....nope, it made my skin feel dry.

This is the only soap I use. It rinses clean, and keeps my skin moist. I live in Arizona which is dry, dry, dry -- and have used this for at least 7 years. For some reason the stores here stopped stocking it, so I started ordering it in bulk from drugstore.com. The fragrance is mild and pleasant. I can totally recommend this beauty bar.

I should have known just by the color! Every time I use a bar soap that is translucent and red, it dries my face out (must be all those chemicals). Anyway, Basis GENTLE bar works better than this; they are both drying although this one takes the cake, it feels like there is a film on your face after rinsing and then about 2 minutes afterward your skin is dry as can be, FLAKY and a little tight. NOT FOR DRY SKIN PEOPLE/sensitive skin people. I have tried close to 50 soaps in the past year and believe me this one is irritating. Reminds me of those Neutrogena chemical bars that make your face burn!
