I have tried alot of acne products, and this is the only one that has kept my skin oil free all day. I love it.

I'm a teen so I have oily, acne-prone skin. When I use this, my face doesn't get oily all day, however it doesn't get rid of existing acne. I still get a little bit of acne with this, but nowhere near as much as I used to get.

Easy to use, I have used this product for a good while and am reasonably pleased. It is more comfortable than a product with dermal abrasian addiative, but not sure that with out the dermal abrasian addiative it is really a better product. It is adequate and it adhears to my face well - I try to leave on as long as possible to take advantage of the salyic acid.

I use this twice a day. Although I don't have a persistent acne problem, before using Neutrogena's product, I might get a pimple every few weeks or so. I've been using this oil-free acne wash for about a year now, and I must say it's worked for me in preventing re-occurrences and (when they do occur) severity/duration of pimples or breakouts. I apply it using one of those exfoliating facial buff pads (no particular brand; whatever's on sale). Afterwards, I use Neutrogena's Alcohol-free Toner, and Aveeno lotion as a moisturizer. The mentioned combination cleans gently, doesn't dry out my skin, and prevents breakouts. My skin's very clear. My wife thinks my skin looks great, so I'll keep using the mentioned products.

This cleanser is OK...no different from the countless other ones I've used since I was 12(I'm now19). I've had moderate acne for many years and have not been able to find a single product that works for me. I cannot use products with benzoyl peroxide because I have a horrible skin allergy to it, and dermatologist appointments are expensive. This product cleanses well, but leaves my skin feeling uncomfortably tight and dry, and I still break out. Didn't really make anything worse or better, just not very effective.

The cleanser went on nice and smooth, but later on my face would dry out and so would the skin at the end of my nostril! I used this product for about two weeks, and I haven't seen much of a difference...disappointed.

PROS: softens skin, eliminates redness/inflammation, clears up whiteheads. CONS: unpleasant fragrance, gummy texture does not lather well, does not clear up blackheads, does not prevent new acne from forming. I will most likely not continue to use this cleanser.

This cleanser has worked very well for me. It cleared up my skin better than any other cleanser that Ive tried. It doesn't dry up my skin but it is still very effective. I love this stuff!

Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE this face cleanser! It works so well for me! I started getting acne in the 6th grade; it was the kind of popping up at the wrong time. When I used this product my acne stayed away and only came when I didn't wash my face for a while. Now I try really hard to remember to wash my face in the morning, evening, and in the shower. THIS STUFF ROCKS!!!

I have been using this product for quite some time now it's very creamy and helps get rid of oil and all. But my skin gets a little flaky and I STILL break out! The right side of my face is god awful and Im ashamed to leave the house! I don't know how much longer I can continue with this product to be honest with you. Sometimes I mix it with St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Control & use them both together, but my skin is still messy looking. I guess it's just my diet or me being a 19 year old teenager with crazy hormones or something I don't know. I guess it takes patience and time for it to really work?! I'm thinking about switching to Cetaphil soon enough.
