I use it all over! Love it!

I like to use products with AHAs on my lower back, because I have a tendency to break out in that area. I was excited to find this body lotion with AHAs at such a great price, but unfortunately, it didn't work as well as other brands. I never used the old formula, but this one isn't so great. If you read the ingredients, it lacks glycolic acid, which I find to be the most effective AHA. Overall, this lotion is thin and low-quality, and I switched to another more effective brand. If you're looking for a low concentration of AHAs this may be for you, but it was just a waste of money for me.

I have been so hesitant to use anything with AHA I am very fair & to boot I have sensitive skin. I used this on my legs first and my hands, after one use I was amazed at the results!!! I then proceeded to use on my neck, chest also again amazing, I called Jergens to tell them how much I loved thier products, and ask if you can use on the face too, she said yes, although I am hesitating, but maybe I will try. However try this lotion and she also suggested to wear SPF too!!! IHands Down I love it!!!!!

AHA is good for a skin condition I have on parts of my body. Most AHA or lactic acid lotions are too heavy but this one is light, and I like that and so does my skin. Also, AHA skin lotions are hard to find, so I was happy to find this one. I do wish there was a higher concentration of AHA in the product, however.

New formula works as awesomely as the old. It's the only thing that clears up my keratosis and mends my cracked feet. It's not a great smell but goes away in a few minutes. New pump bottle is annoying though. If they ever stopped making it I'd lose my mind.

This review is for the Skin Smoothing formula not the Skin Firming formula.I was upset with the fact that Jergens changed their old formula.The old formula (the old formula actually worked!!!) contained- Water,glycerin, cetearyl alcohol,petrolatum,mineral oil, ceteareth-20, cyclomethicone,dimethicone,sodium lactate, LACTIC ACID, tridecyl salicylate,tocopheryl acetate,stearic acid, glyceryl dilaurate, aluminum starch octenylsuccinte, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer,methylparaben,propyparaben, dmdm hydantoin, frangrance. THIS JERGENS ORIGINAL FORMULA WORKED. I discovered Jergens SKIN Smoothing lotion (Beta hydroxy & Alpha hydroxy)Skin type(Extra Dry) in a convienece store 4 years ago . I purchased a bottle and WOW I saw a difference in 1 week. I went back to the store and stocked up (8 bottles).Jergens original formula exfoliated everything gently (arms,elbows, hands,back, legs, back of thighs, knees, feet, your "behind".The old formula even improved my KP- Keratosis pilaris. Unfortunately,I ran out of my stash.I went to a local convenience store to buy more Skin Smoothing lotion, but this time I noticed that Jergens had changed the bottle,but I bought 1 big bottle anyway. The new formula is light, but does absolutely Nothing. The new formula is a waste of time and money and its just a big bottle of useless lotion. I was so disappointed.I WILL NEVER BUY JERGENS AGAIN!!

I never used the original formula, so I can't compare the products. But I LOVE this lotion. I live in a NYC apartment with very dry winter air. Every winter I'd get seriously dry skin, even if I used lotion right after my showers. This year I already had gotten cracked dry skin all over my hands and rough scaly patches here and there on my body. After just a couple of days of applying this lotion (within a couple of minutes of gently toweling dry after my morning shower), my skin was vastly improved. In a week, it was smooth and soft again! The fragrance is okay, slightly strong--I have asthma and am sensitive to perfume--but it doesn't bother me, havent had any problems with blue streaks or anything, although every so often a bead won't "pop" right away. I've tried many different lotions and brands, and I've never been impressed like this before. It's a real winner.

I also used the old formula for years and freaked out when the new formula replaced the old. However, after using the new formula for about a month, even my husband was commenting that I had "seriously soft skin." I recently found a small bottle of the old formula under my sink & took it on a business trip. After about a week, I noticed that my skin felt crackly after about 8 hours & I had to use the old formula more often to get the same impact. I love the little beads. They release little fruit acids that help to exfoliate.

This product is great!! I love the scent and it leaves my skin so soft.

I also miss the old formula (especially the scent. I find the new scent to be sort of generic perfumey. And who puts beads in LOTION???) but will continue to stick with this stuff. The AHA keep my skin supersmooth and the scent wears off with reasonable speed. I haven't experienced the film issue that some people have, but I still say we petition Jergens to bring back the old stuff...
