I have a dry, itchy, scaly patch on my calve, that I've had for years, saw the skin dr. got some skin cream that was thick and greasy like vasaline. I bought this product because it said it could soften the most driest skin. I was desperate to rid of my ugly dry patch. I was amazed when I used it. It went on smooth, not greasy/oily and absorbs into skin quickly. I applied to legs and heals before bed. The next morning, WOW so soft skin and heels. Within couple of days my skin was soft and no cracked heals. I now use it on my legs, arms and face. Unbelievablely soft radiant skin, especially my face. Your skin looks soft, healthy and even toned. My hubby likes to rub my arms and legs, he says it feels soft and my face looks younger. Awesome product, even though it's really expensive then most lotions, the product worked for me!

For a long time I refused to recommend this because I was afraid the it would get popular, and the price would go up. I have extremely sensitive skin, and it often it happens that I discover a product that works for a year and suddenly starts causing breakouts. I have now used this for years as both body lotion and facial moisturizer. People think I look a lot younger than I actually am so perhaps it is working well. [...] I read the other reviews. Apparently some of the people are allergic to one of the ingredients. That makes it odd that it works so well for me, but it does.

I've been using this for a couple of months, and it seems to be helping clear the tiny bumps on the backs of my upper arms and the backs of my thighs. Only four stars, though, since it hasn't worked miracles. Since I have fairly oily skin, I appreciate that this lotion goes on light and doesn't leave me feeling greasy.

This product will make you break out if you are allergic to formaldehyde... I would never use it again.

My skin is finicky, but it LOVES this stuff -- I'm literally glowing the morning after I use it. I do dilute it with another, non-alpha hydroxy lotion. It takes care of wrinkles, blackheads, zits and whiteheads AND it's cheap, esp. compared with department store brands. What's not to love? Also works great on the body -- I'm smooth, even toned and sans ingrown hairs.

I brought this in preparation of clearing up my upper arms and back for my wedding day. I broke out in a horrible rash that lasted about a week & a half. It made me feel so horrible and more self conscious. I normally don't have reactions to products like this. Being that I paid closed to 12 dollars for it I didn't want to throw it out, so I gave it to my mom, who in about two days complained about a rash on her arms. We promptly tossed it in the garbage. I guess it's luck of the draw with skin products but I would defiantly not recommend this product.

This stuff is what finally got rid of those dreaded arm bumps and is great for winter-time skin. If this alone doesn't seem to be doing the trick with those bumps, try gently scrubbing the area with a Buf-Puf in the shower, and then applying this lotion immediately after drying off.

This is the best lotion ever. It's perfect as a facial moisturizer: it's non-greasy, absorbs incredibly fast, and makes your skin feel healthy and smooth. It's incredible and well worth the price!

I bought this after reading all the great reviews and hoped it would get rid of the bumps on my arms too, but unfortunately it didn't. I used it religiously for a while and didn't notice any change. It works great on my feet though!

I just wanted to add to the praise. This stuff works well to control ingrown hairs. I get bad ingrown leg hairs. So I've started scrub my legs before I shave them and applying Lac-hydrin after I shave. If I'm consistent, this almost entirely solves the problem. Also good for dry cracked heels, as others have said. Put some on, put socks on and go to bed. You get smooth heels in the morning! It doesn't smell glamorous, but I have other lotions for that.
