Neutrogena Wave™ is water resistant and can be used at the sink or in the shower.  It's as easy as brushing your teeth. How to use in three easy steps: Simply attach a disposable pad to the attachment head. Hold the power-cleanser under running water to activate foaming pad. Turn on cleanser by pressing power button and gently massage over face.  Avoid delicate eye area. Rinse face thoroughly and dispose of pad after each use. Replacing batteries:  Remove battery door by gently pressing the latch.  Replace old battery with 1-AA battery.

It DOES foam, it just takes time. Like three minutes, about. It makes you skin feel great, and refreshed. The first time I used it my skin already felt softer and refreshed! Get it; because it is definitly worth it.

Not as great as it may seem... by Julie in Chicago, IL on 7/17/08 Pros: Clean Feel, Refreshing Cons: Dries Out Skin, Ineffective Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: not recommended I bought this product thinking it would be able to help me get rid of my acne or at least lessen the occurrence of pimples. I am currently on the 4th day of using this product, and it only seems to have made my acne worse! I'll admit that it DOES leave your skin softer and smoother after using it, but that's ALL IT DOES!!! And like everyone else has said, the pads don't foam up as much as they portray it in the commercials which kinda sucks. I have also heard that you'll break out REALLY badly if you stop using it, so I'm not looking forward to the transition period from this to another product. = [ It might just be that you need near-to-perfect skin for this to work but it doesn't help if you have mild to severe acne. If you need a good recommendation, try Noxzema.

Washes makeup right off by Kristen in Michigan on 7/13/08 Pros: Clean Feel, Refreshing Cons: Cost Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended This does a great job washing off my makeup. My face always feels clean after using it and it's pretty gentle on my combination skin. Only problem is that it's not the cheapest facial cleanser around, so I don't use it every day. Hint on getting the pads to foam more: Take the pad, find the side that has the most cleanser on it, quickly put it under water, then fold it in half and rub it together for a couple seconds, then put it on the device. It always foams great for me.

It does... by Anynonmous in Orlando, Florida on 7/4/08 Pros: Clean Feel, Gentle, Leaves Skin Soft, Refreshing, Very Hydrating Cons: Doesn't Foam EnoughAlot, Not worth the price paid Best Uses: All Skin Types, Daily Use, Sensitive Skin Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended It does make your skin feel soft and I do think that it somewhat cleans your skin but when you buy the product there aren't too many pads mabye a weeks worth or two weeks worth it depends how often you use it but only half the pads that I got were as foamy as the ones you see on tv which was dissappointing so I just put moisterizing soap on the pads to lather it up enough because I think the product cleans your skin as good as it does by the way it cleans it not exactly what cleans it. The first time I used the product the vibrations burned my skin a little but it did feel and look softer also it prevents acne to some degree so mabye I wasnt cleaning my face well enough resulting in more acne but I think it was overal a good product but I'm not sure it should be that high priced for what its worth...

i broke out more with this! by mandabelle in hayward, ca on 7/3/08 Cons: Ineffective, Irritates Skin Bottom Line: not recommended i have never really had a problem with break outs, i get a pimple every now and again, but man after using this thing! im broken out everywhere, its like i have acne!! it made my skin soft SO WHAT, ive been having to mask my face like crazy to get rid of the break outs but they havent all gone away yet. you want something that works? noxzema, i never should have switched. it works and also helps get rid of any scars you might have from old break outs. by noxzema people!

Great stuff! It does what ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/22/08 Great stuff! It does what it says. Keep wetting the pads and rubbing it with your fingers, or wet it before you place it on the shockwave and squeeze to make it foam.

I'd actually rate this ... by Amy in Moon Township, PA on 5/9/08 I'd actually rate this somewhere between three and four stars -- like many others, I was disappointed that the pads don't foam up the way I thought they would, but my face feels so soft and clean after using the Wave that I'm willing to overlook that. I've found that saturating the pads completely with water before attaching it to the Wave helps produce a little more foam, too.

Also having to buy new pads constantly can be a problem. Besides that it made my skin super soft and a love it. It even helped subside some of that little bump-like acne I had.

I have broken capillaries that have reduced significantly since I started using it. I don't care about the lathering; it really gets my skin clean. When I use it at night, my skin is firmer in the morning.
