A good alternative to pills by Steph M in New England on 7/22/08 Best Uses: Daily Use Describe Yourself: First Time User I'd recommend this liquid multi for people, like myself, who cannot stand taking pills but would still like to take a good, basic, affordable multivitamin. While neither the taste nor the smell are enjoyable -- murky and sickly sweet in scent, metallic in taste -- it is palatable and I don't dread it. I do, always, take it right before a meal so I never have to deal with an aftertaste or indigestion. The reason why I chose this one over other, potentially more tasty, liquid multis was that it has very reasonable amounts of only the basic, essential vitamins and minerals. There are no exotic, fad-of-the-month supplements. All of the vitamins and minerals are at 100% or less of their daily recommended value -- anything more is a waste, and for some vitamins and minerals, anything more is actually dangerous to your health.

I used to take Centrum Silver, but have switched to Centrum liquid. I have had excellent results, and would recommend to anyone with an gastric emptying problem.

Unlike pill form, where you exrcrete most of it when you go to the bathroom, the liquid is just that, so it goes right into your blood stream. I was directed to take it by my nutrionist. I take 1 tablespoon twice a day in the first week all of my acne was gone, and I was full of energy by the second day. I have always had trouble ... by Amy R in Hillsboro, OR on 7/22/06 I have always had trouble with taking pill form vitamins. They were hard on my stomach. So I decided to try liquid form. Though this liquid vitamin doesn't taste the greatest, it was tolerable. The best thing though is that I have no stomach upset at all. I would buy this product again for that alone.
