I've been on birth control pills for over five years, and at my annual female checkup this year my blood tests showed I have a B6 deficiency--apparently very common for women who take oral contraceptives. My gyno recommended a 100mg daily supplement, so I bought this product.I noticed a difference within a few days! My energy level skyrocketed. I stopped having problems concentrating at work. I didn't realize how tired I had been until I suddenly wasn't anymore. My only gripe is that although the pills are small, they are about as thick as they are wide. If you tend to gag on pills (as I do sometimes), they can be hard to swallow. But it is well worth the occasional problem swallowing it for the effects.

My OB/GYN recommended 50 mg of B-6 twice a day to help with menopausal symptoms. I could tell a difference in my energy level and mood stability, and have continued using it for 3 1/2 years. My Dr. prefers 50 mg twice a day to 100 mg once a day, and this brand comes in 50 mg tablets.
