This is just OK. It is NOT an olive oil cleanser like DHC, but rather it has the consistancy of a liquid hand soap, almost like a gel. I was expecting it to be like the DHC one so I was disapointed. It smells a little odd also. It removed my makeup just fine, but left my dry skin feeling tight and even more dry. Maybe it's ok for someone with a different type of skin. I'll use it till it's gone but I won't be buying it again.

I purchased this product because I read that it was comparable to DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, but at a much lower price. The price is good, but the product does not work nearly as good as DHC. I will not be buying it again.

This is the only cleanser I have liked well enough to buy online when it wasn't available in my local stores.

well this is what I would say use it at night, because you'll give more time for the skin to rest and consume the nutrients. what I do first is I use the St. Ives Elements Warming Scrub - 4 oz to open up my pores, then after a minute of scrubbing I rinse with warm water to keep those pores open, then I use this HYdroxy mask, then when it's ready to peel, i PEEL IT OFF AND THEN i RINSE MY FACE A LITTLE WITH WARM WATER, THEN i APPLY a moisturizer, in this case I use, St. Ives Elements Olive Cleanser - 6.75 fl oz, this will help fill the pores with clean substance. then I leave that one for two minutes. then I rinse with cooler water . then I head to bed and the next morning my skin looks nice and radiant, but If I do this everyday I start getting use to seeing my face radiant, that I just stop noticing it and it's not always, sometimes my face just looks healthy, IM 32 years old by the way so keep that in mind, I don't have oily skin anymore like when I was a teenager. so I don't know how good it's for oily skin you might break out

I switched from Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Wash to this because I thought my skin had cleared up, but I was sadly mistaken. I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone with acne, but if you have clear skin, you could give it a try. The smells reminds me of a hotel, which isn't bad at all as it brings back childhood memories of vacations, haha.

I had used the DHC Olive Cleansing Oil, which never irritated my sensitive skin, and thought that this might be a cheaper alternative. The first time I used this, it left burn marks on my face, which I'm still trying to get rid of! This might work for some, but stay away from this if your skin is sensitive!! I went right back to the DHC product.

Yes, this does have a bad smell. It is very tolerable since I dont look for a cleanser to smell good but to do the job it's supposed to. And this one does. This is the only cleanser that cleared up my skin without drying it out and keeping it clean at the same time. I use it twice a day and from day one I have not had 1 problem. I have never purchased a product more than once, but I am on my 3rd bottle of this.

Cleanser was good, just really don't like the off odor. Its bad.

This product is okay for me, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. I have been using it for three months. I didn't notice any more breakouts. The smell isn't great (it just doesn't smell fruity or flowery) but it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't say it smells "bad" just that it doesn't smell especially nice. Maybe they just didn't add fragrance? I can see how this product might dry out skin that is prone to dryness. It leaves the skin feeling clean and doesn't feel like anything is left behind. Price is good.
