I've been using this tree times a week for the past three weeks. I am only just beginning to see any sort of results. Maybe because I have REALLY damaged hair it just can;t fix all of it. I think this product would be great for someone with less damaged hair, or someone who isn't looking for dramatic changes. But for [$] it does a decent job and hopefully will keep making more little improvements over time.

Okay I don't usually write reviews, but this product really worked for me. I have thick wavy crazy frizzy hair that has recently gotten much worse since I've developed a thyroid condition. I've been trying everything to make it calm down - drugstore and salon items. I tried this as a last resort after reading the reviews here. I put it on my already dirty hair (full of "smoothing" products that I've been trying but aren't working) before I went to bed. I woke up with smoother, manageable nicely wavy hair. Seriously, it was a near-miracle for me. My boyfriend even complimented me on my hair - and he doesn't notice anything. Can't hurt to try it!

My hair was a frizzy mess when I had to travel a lot last month. None of my favorite products were much help so I tried this. I put some all over my dry hair -- mostly on the ends but a little across the top of the head as well since frizz knows no boundaries. It took half a bottle to coat my long hair. Then I went to bed, and woke up the next day with nice curls that got compimented by my breakfast companions. The pillowcase did not appear at all stained, BTW. I did not wash my hair that day, so enjoyed glossy curls until the next day when it pretty much washed out with some minor residual benefit. I wish it were cheaper but it worked a miracle for me.

It's so dry here and i needed something to help keep my hair from breaking and drying out. I use this in my hair everynight and wake up to smooth, healthy hair.

The bottle is way too small, I used about 1/4 of it the first night. I have fine, very blonde coloured hair with breakage at the crown. I hoped this would smooth the breakage much like the more expensive Fekkai products but really while there was some benefits the price wasn't worth it. I normally love anything John Frieda puts out but this is one that fell below expectations.

The bottle is tiny and it's expensive for what you actually get. Past reviewers have hailed this as a miracle product, and while it might have done wonders for them, I haven't noticed any change whatsoever in my hair after use. It DOES smell pretty darn nice, but as mentioned, I don't think this validates spending so much for so little.

I recently tried this along Frizz-Ease Creme Serum as well as a product sold on the internet called Phyx. I have used some John Frieda products in the past such as the Frizz-Ease Smoothing Serum to reduce frizz. The Frieda smoothing serum seems to be silicone based. The main difference in it and the overnite repair creme is that the creme is supposed to actually repair the hair so you have less frizz...and here it fails miserably. When i wash it out, my hair goes back to the same frizzy mess it was before treating. Leaving it in longer (2 days vs just overnite) has no further effect. A regular deep conditioning has about the same effect. The overnite repair Phyx is a a similiar moisturizer / silicones based product and actually did manage a more lasting "repair" effect for a few days (as compared to one or zero days for the frieda creme. However, the Phyx goes for ALOT per bottle and I cant afford to get that. This is the reason i was hoping the Frieda overnite repair was going to work as well. So..the search goes on. Also of note, i am extremely sensitive to fragrance in products, many things make me sneeze horribly. The scent in this creme is a bit strong for me, but is probably fine for the average person. It is not an unpleasant smell in my opinion, just a bit strong. I did send an email to the frieda customer service , maybe it will change in the future. The good news is that while the frieda creme doesnt do much repair, it does provide a bit more moisture than the smoothing serum so your hair doesnt get even MORE dry and damaged, while silicones in these products mean that if you have super frizzy, fried, naturally curly hair like me you can skip washing it out the next morning like the directions say, and it keeps your hair in order.

This is a great leave-in treatment for curly, dry hair. I love that you can apply it at night and rinse out in the morning - it does not stain your pillowcase or feel to heavy on your hair like other masks I have tried. The only downfall is my hair is so thick that I end up using almost the entire bottle on my hair at one time, because you have to apply it while your hair is dry. I wish the bottle was bigger!

Once again, John Frieda has come up with a solution to us poor souls with frizzy, dry, pyramid-shaped hair. I love the fact that within a few minutes of applying, my hair is not wet any more, and it leaves no residue on my pillow. I also like the fact that the bottle is fairly small, so I can bring it along with me on trips. My hair is so long and frizzy, I tend to use a lot every night. If your hair is not al that horrible, you can probably get away with using it a few times a week. God bless this man.

My hair has always tended to really dry out, split, and break - it doesn't help that I blowdry and iron out my curls several times a week, either. Recently, a big chunk of hair broke off on the left side of my head and I knew I had to change something (or a number of things). I switched shampoos/conditioners, but I also picked up this overnight serum, thinking it couldn't hurt. That was the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR! I combed this through my hair before bed, and the next morning I was pleased to note that my hair seemed to have absorbed most of the conditioner and felt hydrated. I was stunned to find that it stayed that way after shampooing! It just gets better with time too. My hair is softer than it has been in a long time, and it is really starting to shine. I'm well on my way to getting that horrible broken place to grow back out, too! This is worth every single penny.
