I love Nivea and love all of their lip products...except this one. It tastes terrible. I'm not even sure if it works because I can't stand to wear it, skip this one.

I had found this product in a large retailer one time then never could find it again. I looked high and low and finally a friend turned me onto drugstore.com and found this product again. Now I will buy everything from drugstore.com because they were there for me.

I really like this SPF lip balm., it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Some people complained about the white waxy appearance it leaves behind; however, I found it to only to be that way if I put tons of it on. You only need a couple of swipes on your lips for it to be effective. Also, I tend to go outside the natural lip line when I apply it...taking care to reach those fine lines that are starting to develope now that I've hit my 30's. I love how the balm is thick...lots of staying power! It's true that it doesn't taste great; however, what product with a decent amount of sunscreen in it does. The balm is so thick that I hardly ever get any "slipage" into my mouth. As a matter of fact, when I have this balm on, which is about every day, I am reminded not to lick my lips, which causes drying...kind of like a trainin aid

If you have ever had a fever blister you know lip protection is critical. This is very effective protection. Don't leave home without it.

After seeing this is Allure, I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed. It left a whitish residue on my lips, it did not moisturize very well, and it did not last long. On a positive note, it does have SPF 30 and it didn't cause any adverse reaction (I've been allergic to lip balms in the past). But I would not buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

Nivea has been one of my favorite brands for about 20 yrs. It's so great to see so much variety in the U.S. now. They make great stuff. I love this lip balm.

I was in desperate need of a lip balm with a high SPF in it because there'a history of skin cancer in my family. I've found a great full body sunblock and I needed something for my lips. When I saw this in the store I decided to buy it and try it out. I was so surprised at how moisturizing it was on my lips! Other SPF lip balms dry out my lips, but this does not. I also noticed how long it lasts and how smoothly it applies. Way longer than any typical lip balm I've used. As for scent, there isnt much of one. Its lightly scented. I dont know what the scent is, but to me it smells a little citrusy with a twist of vanilla! It's refreshing. I will definitely buy more when my tube is gone!

I got it for the SPF but it's way too drying, waxy, and leaves a ton of very visible, prominent white residue. Stay away!
