This is the second time I've tried one of these whitening products. The first time I wasn't sure if my sore throat was a result of the whitening strips or not, but now that I've used the pen and the same thing happened with a sore throat coming on within 6 hours after using the product, I know it's the whitening products causing the problem. I guess I'm going to have to resort to spending hundreds of dollars to have my teeth whitened at a dentist where they put a dental dam in to protect my throat from the solution. The sore throat I get from these products last 4-5 days. My throat is actually burned by the product. I think there should be a warning on the box.

I think this product is great to maintain whitened teeth between using more expensive, harsher treatments. It didn't hurt my gums or make my teeth more sensitive. I just wish it contained more gel per container.

Strips were whitening unevenly. I used the pen to even out my whitening. It's easy to use- much easier than strips. Not sure how effective it is if used without strips.

I tried this because it was the cheapest whitener I saw on the shelf. I didn't want to pay [$] for Whitestrips, plus they're all gooey and feel gross. I guess you get what you pay for, though. There was barely any whitening gel in the pen--I think I only got about 6 applications out of it. And it took forever to even come out. I think my teeth started to look a bit whiter, but that could have just been my imagination. The pen is a good idea in principle, but I'd suggest paying a bit more for strips or a whitening tray.

It takes longer to whiten than strips or gels do, but it does lighten teeth after a few days of use and leaves me with no sensitivity, unlike every other strip and gel I have tried. Very easy to use, convenient, don't notice you have it on, and you do not have to keep your mouth open for 30 minutes.

In the past I've always used the whitening strips, which work well, so i thought I'd try the pen. It doesn't whiten teeth, it all collects in a bunch, and you have to keep saliva off your teeth for 30 minutes for it to work. AKA: you can't close your mouth for 30 minutes. try the listerine whitening strips. they're much better.
