I think this product is by far miles above Crest strips. Would never use another product.

The trays will not stay in place unless you keep your teeth clenched the entire time you have them in your mouth. Would never buy this product again.

Stick with the strips! These whitening trays do not stay in place, unless you keep your jaw clenched tight. Other products work much better.

I had some discoloration on my teeth from braces I had a couple years ago. I found this product whitened a good amount without exacerbating my tooth sensitivity. Some difficulties: The gel burned the back of my throat and the bottom tray never really stayed on well.

I used the trays for 45 min everyday as directed. I did not have any issues with pain, maybe a subtle twinge once or twice, but overall definitely "Gentle" as advertised. However, I didn't notice much difference in the color of my teeth. My teeth were fairly white to start off with, so maybe that's the issue. Perhaps it works better for teeth that are moderately stained.

Great product, met my expectations

I tried this product thinking that the trays were more flexible and able to mold to the teeth. THEY ARE NOT!!! From the beginning I had trouble. The gel falls out and you end up swallowing it. You need to keep your mouth shut so that the trays do not fall off. overall it is a messy experience. I will never buy this product again.

Why I bought it: I got the pro-gentle system because the white strips I used a while ago made my teeth very sensitive and I was not able to finish their system. They were also very hard to keep in place. I wanted a system that was easy to use, eased sensitivity, and duh - worked! Info about me: - I do not smoke, drink coffee or sodas. My teeth were not harshly stained. - I have a typically shaped mouth and average sized teeth which are very straight. - I used the entire system for 7 days straight. - I used the trays for 40 minutes a day, and brushed 2 or 3 times per day (starting a week in advance) throughout the entirety of the system. Beginning the system: I started the pro-gentle system by using the tooth paste included for 1 week before starting the whitening trays. I had absolutely no sensitivity the 1st day. The only "con" on the 1st day was that the top tray was rough on a particular area of my gums. That never happened again though, during the other days. Perhaps it was just an oddly shaped tray. Pros: - They work! I saw a difference within 4 days. My teeth were not very stained at all. I don't drink coffee, sodas, or smoke. I got a perfectly white smile by using the system once. We went to a bowling lane and they had disco bowling with black lights - my teeth lit up they were so white! lol - I only felt a mild sensitivity on the 3rd day, which is great b/c I was expecting pain pain pain. Using the toothpaste took that slight sensitivity away. - The trays fit my mouth perfectly. - Very easy to use once you figure it out (took me 1 day of using the trays to get used to the process). Cons: - I did have a little trouble spreading the gel onto my teeth once the trays were in place. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they place the gel in a thin strip set along the front of the tray so that it fits right up against the teeth. - Small bits of the gel would slip out of the tray and I'd have to swallow it. The texture was a little gross, but the taste was not bad. Like toothpaste. . - I was not able to talk while keeping the trays in place (they claim you are able to, I believe). They are flimsy (designed in order to be able to fit differently shaped mouths), and I so had to keep my mouth shut with my upper and lower teeth against each other to keep them in place. Once doing that, however, it was very easy. What I suggest: - Don't brush your teeth right before you use the trays. I read that can increase the possibility of sensitivity. - Place the bottom tray in first, making sure the gel is in front and not sitting on top of your teeth. Do a quick "press" of the gel just to get the tray in place. - Then place the upper tray in, again making sure the gel is in front of your teeth. - Close your mouth, upper and lower teeth together, and then spread the gel (from top to bottom on the lower tray and bottom to top on the upper tray). Don't worry about spreading the gel sideways, just up or down. - Make sure you get the gel up to the top (or bottom, for lowers) of your teeth, but don't push the gel out of the tray. - Don't fidget too much with the trays after they're in place. That makes some of the gel slip out and then you'd have to swallow it. I found that if I just laid back and watched some TV after a while I'd forget they were there. Good luck!

Whitestrips work well, but the pain they cause my teeth is unbearable so I decided to try this. I used the toothpaste for a week before I started. I started using the trays every other day and continued brushing with the paste and there was some sensitivity but very little. I have noticed a definite difference in my teeth color. I like that you only have to do it once a day and although the gel is a little nasty it doesn't taste too horrible. I would say this is your best bet if you have extremely sensitive teeth but want them whiter!
