I love this product,I 've been using it for years. It does not dry out your skin and my face feels very refreshed after using it.

I love this for taking off my makeup it just seems to really deep cleanse without it being oily.

This facewash did not lather up very well at all when I used it; I felt like I was washing my face with lotion rather than a cleanser. I didn't feel or see any difference in my skin afterwards, even after using a whole tube and a half over the course of two months. Definitely will not buy it again.

I love Neutrogena. I wanted to state that first, but this product did not work for me. I have oily/sensitive skin, and the cream based cleanser seemed to do a good job making me smell like menthoyl but not cleaning my face. It still felt oily after washing. (I've been told oily people need gel cleansers rather than cream. ) Anyway, my skin broke out, and I switched to Avene's oily/sensitive cleanser. It worked.

It looks like a lot of the reviewers are expecting this product to clear up acne, but that isn't its purpose. It's oil-free, so it won't cause acne, but it is not designed to treat acne specifically. I have super sensitive skin that dries out and becomes red and irritated easily. Paradoxically, I also have mild acne (or maybe it's rosacia?) that seems to flare up more when my face gets overly dry. So, I find this product to be perfect for my needs. It's a very mild cleanser, even more mild than Dove. And because it doesn't irritate my skin, my acne stays away and my skin looks smooth and even. It's not designed to remove makeup, so if you use heavy makeup, this product alone won't work for you. But if you're just looking for a mild cleanser that will remove day dirt, oil, and light makeup and won't irritate your skin, this product is perfect.

I have been battling oily, blemished skin for years and trying many different products to deal with that. I thought this one would work, but I don't think it cleans very effectively, despite the name, leaving it up to my toner to take off the rest of my make-up. Since I started using it a month ago my acne has actually worsened. I now get at least one new pimple per day. Even though it's a creamy cleanser, the flakiness around the pimples seems worse. I'm going back to the basis cleanser that works much better at getting my skin really clean.

Perfect for normal or dry skin that occasionally breaks out, young or old (my mom and I both use it). Keep in mind it's a *cream* cleanser, meaning not meant to control oil.

I have mild acne and have tried every cleanser out there. I really think this is the best I've tried. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause it to flake, but it has still kept it pretty clear. I'm on my third tube and I haven't wanted to try anything else.

This is the best cleanser I've ever tried and I've tried plenty. I've been using it for years. Of course it varies on your skin type, though. My skin gets oily quickly during the day but dries out a lot during certain seasons, and I get pimples during both periods. This cleanser keeps my face balanced. It's not drying like certain other facial scrubs and cleansers, but it doesn't leave a greasy residue either. It's more of a soft and refreshing feeling. The smell is great too, I love smelling my blankets after I wash my face with it at night and go to sleep. There's really no product out there that will clear all your acne because it's a fact of life. The only thing you can do is treat your face right, so if your skin is like mine, I would definitely give this cleanser a shot.
