Indications

For the temporary relief of occasional headaches and minor aches and pains with accompanying sleeplessness.

Directions

Do not take more than directed Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 2 caplets at bedtime or as directed by physician. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Children under 12 years of age:  Do not use this adult product in children under 12 years of age:  this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) and may cause liver damage. Store between 20-25° C (68-77° F).   Do not use if carton is opened or neck wrap or foil inner seal imprinted with "Safety Seal" is broken or missing.

Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers or fever reducers.  Acetaminophen may cause liver Do not use with any other product continuing acetaminophen, with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin. or in children under 12 years of age. Ask a doctor before use if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, or glaucoma. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers.   When using this product drowsiness will occur, avoid alcoholic drinks, and do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks.  Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness, if pain gets worse or lasts for more than 10 days, if fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days, redness or swelling is present, or new symptoms occur.  These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.  Keep out of reach of children.   Overdose Warning:  Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage.  In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.  Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

Sometimes this product ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/31/07 Sometimes this product works and sometimes it doesn't. Often it's good for 3-4 hours and then I'm wide awake. Tylenol Extra Strength seems to work as well if not better.

This is a lifesaver for ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 6/23/06 This is a lifesaver for the nights I feel too wound-up to sleep. It's a VERY effective sleep aid, so I usually only need to take one pill instead of two. I fall asleep quickly, and sleep like the dead. Tylenol PM makes me sleep straight through the night, which I never do on my own. I don't feel groggy the next morning either, which is a huge difference between this product and other sleep aids I've tried. I highly recommend this for the nights when you're achey and tense and need a good night's rest - just make sure you only take it when you actually have a full night to sleep. If you take this and then try to get up in a few hours, it'll never happen!

I have had trouble ... by Angell in Mantua, NJ on 2/8/06 I have had trouble sleeping for many years now, mostly because of chronic pain issues. I tried many things, including prescription sleep aids that do not work as well as this product. I make sure that I am home before I take them since they work pretty quickly. I would highly recommend them.

I suffer from migraines, ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 10/31/03 I suffer from migraines, which I typically treat with prescription drugs. In a pinch, Tylenol PM will sometimes (though not always) help get rid of those monsters, proving that they can provide relief for some of your TOUGHEST headaches. Give it a chance. You'll sleep well and wake with less pain (or no pain at all).

I've been using Tylenol ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/10/03 I've been using Tylenol PM for over 2 years whenever I'm having trouble sleeping or just can't seem to get tired enough to go to bed. This is the best OTC sleeping and pain aid you can buy. Believe me I've tried many different brands. I only take one [half the recommended dosage] and within 45 minutes I'm ready for bed and I sleep the whole night through! Not to mention this product doesn't leave you feeling groggy and sleepy in the morning. Top product! I highly recommend Tylenol PM to anyone.
