Before I started using this, I had a rash on my legs that was extrememly itchy, and ugly. Now, it's almost gone.

I had really dry skin, I was using Dial soap for a long time, I switched to Dove because it was getting drier an more itchy. I will never go back to anything else! My skin is never dry after using this in the shower

I started using it for the "Mommy parts" as recommended by my physician. Then I found it oh, so gently cleaned the rest of my body. No residue, no fragrance, rinses clean.

Brilliant. No scent, hypoallergenic. Could it get better? My doctor recommended this product after I had a few infections. She said that it would not irritate my skin and would keep my PH balance; she also added that the added perfumes is what mostly causes the irritation. Great stuff. The only soap I will ever use.

Very good soap. Family and relatives have constantly been switching soap until we used dove. We have used it eversince then. It cleans very well while effectively moisturizing skin.

Its ok. I use it for body and face it doesn't help with acne, but it is kind of gentle and the smell is very clean.

I really like this soap. I use it to shave with and it does a great job, as well as to cleanse my "southern regions", which does the job without irritation. Nothing fancy, just gentle and effective. It gets the job done for those who have sensitive skin.

Its gentle, but with longer use I developed an allergy to it in about two weeks. By the way it smells very chemical too. I might be allergic to the tropical ingredients it has- palm, coconut stuff. I wish someone would come up here with only animal ingredient soaps for those allergic to tropical. In fact all soaps have the coconut or palm ingredients, and some shampoos too. Well I guess for me the next try is Johnsons baby wash, the original one.

This is a very good soap. It has a neutral pH of 7.0, so it doesn't dry out the skin as much as soaps with a higher, more alkaline pH.

Why did Dove changed the ingredients? The soap is so harsh on my sensitive skin that I need to find a different soap, mainly because it's left small rashes on my chest; and to show you how harsh it is, it's even eaten a hole through my favorite wash cloth! Like the person below, you've lost a lifetime loyal customer.
