Is your hair so hard to hold that you often wished that there was a spray version of super glue? Well here it is! No kidding. This stuff will firmly hold your hair for days on end despite rain, wind, heat or winter cold. You could sweat buckets out of your scalp but your hair isn't going to budge. Ditto on any windy or stormy days... your umbrella may blow inside out but your ring curls aren't going anywhere, sister. Please note however that in exchange for this industrial strength holding power, you have to put up with a distinctive metallic chemical scent that is easily identified by any child of the 80's...and beware not to let your hair get within 10 feet of any open flame after applying (candle, cigarette, etc). Best applied as the very last step in your styling routine after your hair is all styled and perfect. Do not try to use as a setting spray or on wet hair--you're asking too much of this product. Its called "NET" because its like a hair net...its meant to go on last!

I absolutely love this stuff. Aquanet is the best product invention since brass knuckles and Southern Comfort. I probably go through three cans a month. I work construction and it holds up to the stricktest safety ratings. My foreman actually allows me to not wear a hard hat since this stuff is so bullet proof. I once had a steel I-Beam shatter on my silver locks when it fell from the 2nd floor. No Joke!

This has the best hold that I've ever encountered in a hairspray. I've tried more "flexible hold" hairsprays like Dove and they just don't work as well. Whether I'm wearing my hair in a ponytail and want to get stray pieces out of my face, or have straightened it and want to give it a little more body underneath, this hairspray does the job. The only downside is that it seems to give off a weird, almost fishy odor when I use it before heat-styling. Note: To prevent the over-stiffness that can happen with this product, spray from about a foot away from hair.

The only reason that I give this four stars instead of five is because of the scent. It says it's unscented- unfortunately, it's not. However, this is hands-down the best hairspray I've ever used- and the cheapest. Yesterday I was sitting in a car with the windows down completely, and it held my hair perfectly in place. I will never go back to those expensive salon hairsprays- they can't hold a candle to this product!

Nothing is better than Aqua Net Extra Hold hairspray! I have fine hair, and this hairspray holds the shape I put it into for hours and hours. I've used it for around 20 years, and have never, ever found anything that works better! I've tried pricey hairsprays that hairdressers would try to get me to use, and they just didn't work like Aqua Net - it's the best!

I love this; used it in the 1960's and it holds just as firmly now as it did then! I can't stand hairsprays that leave your hair feeling like baby's hair, so it blows everywhere.

My hair is very thick, but it lacks volume when I straighten it. I tried mousse, but my hair was too heavy for it. One day I decided to test out some Aqua Net. I sprayed it on after getting most of the water out of my hair with a towel. I used a lot, and then dried my hair. Once I brushed my hair and straightened it, it felt so soft. My style holds all day, and the Aqua Net prevents damage.

If you're a chick, you're better off using Hair Gel, trust me. If you're a guy, you're better off using "Brylcreem". This stuff is too strong.

My hairstyle of choice is the whole glam-metal-80's-teased hair look. Believe me, this is one of the only hairsprays I've used that holds my hair up really well. And it's cheap; that's always good.

This is an excellent hairspray for hard to hold styles. I've worn a tall, petaled bouffant for many years. This spray will hold even a large bouffant all day, provided you spray it well enough. I recommend you give your hairdo a good initial coat of spray. Allow it to dry a minute or two and then give another good coat of spray. This will provide your hairdo with a good, stiff shell that will be quite wind resistant. It's not one of those soft hairsprays that are popular these days for the new styles. This is for the more traditional, roller set styles like mine. If that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed!
