I use my primer first, then this, then foundation if I'm going out. If I'm not I'll just use this with concealer. Works great and gives skin a sun kissed glow. Was horribly disappointed - gritty, thick, applies like a cheap foundation, smells terrible, and irritated skin with burning sensation. Would have expected much more from Aveeno - especially with an Active Naturals product. Leaves skin irritated, unnaturally colored (fair to light was very orangish), and did not absorb well at all. Do NOT waste your money. I had to throw out an almost full bottle. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (0 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? When I first applied it, I thought I had the wrong product. It has the same unpleasant chemical smell as self-tanning lotions. After a few hours, my eyes began to sting and i had to wash my face. Tried it a second day with the same results so it hit the trash. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I have fair skin but I bought the medium and I am glad I did. It is pretty light in color. The fair must be white. The packaging is my problem. The bottle doesn't come with a cover for the top so if you are traveling, you could have a mess in your cosmetic bag if the top gets somehow pushed down and pumps product all over your other stuff. I just wanted something with a bit more coverage, and to even out my skin tone. This does have a bit more coverage, but it is hard to rub in and tends to cake on the skin and get built up in my eyebrows! It also has sparkly flecks in it, which I hate. As for giving my skin a more even tone....I have not noticed that yet either. I also think it could be a little too greasy for summertime. I plan to use up the rest on my face, and I think it would be good on legs in the summer. Probably will not be repurchasing this, unfortunatly.
