It works okay just not as fast and hydrocortisone. It smells very medicinal. Not great but overall OK.

I have suffered from eczema for years. The Dermatology Department at a local teaching hospital prescribed some prescription-strength cortisone (steroid) skin ointment. However, I was warned that it was very strong and should only be used on alternating weeks. It helped but didn't fully heal the eczema, probably because of the on-and-off regime. Then I noticed the skin where I applied the ointment was getting noticeably darker. After doing some research I discovered that topical ointments with steroids actually make the skin thinner, which is why the skin was getting darker and also why I was warned not to use it all the time. I then stopped using it altogether and tried different natural products instead. I'm very happy with both B&T's Florasone cream and Bach's Rescue Remedy. My skin is much more healthy looking and I only need to use either product when I have outbreaks. I wish doctors would at least consider or recommend natural remedies that are non-toxic and not harmful but I suppose large pharmaceutical corporations. Hopefully in time, more doctors will be open-minded about homeopathic and natural products. I know at present, it seems like only osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists will even mention homeopathic alternatives. Here's hoping that will change soon. Be sure to read the ingredients to check for anything you might be allergic to, of course. But even though I have very sensitive skin that reacts easily, I've had no problems with B&T and Bach. Also works for insect bites, rashes, and patches of dry skin.

I've had an ongoing problem with a particular type of heat rash that no doctor has been able to effectively diagnose or treat. I was told to put hot compresses on these blisters, in effect, and wait for them to subside or burst. They're extremely painful. This product, which I found by accident, is the ONLY product prescription, non-holistic or not, that not only relieves the issues but relieves the pain and heals the affected areas. I buy it 6 or more tubes at a time since I use it almost daily and have found that it is not only a treatment but a prophylactic and aids in forestalling the onset of the blisters/rash.

We've used this product on our child, who has eczema. Not comfortable with long-term use of hydrocortisone or prescription steroid creams, we were happy to find this alternative. It helps stop the itching, and smells good too! Our child told us, "It feels nice." We were pleased to find the product available here on drugstore.com when our local drugstore stopped carrying it. We'll buy it for years. Our only recommendation: we'd love a bigger size. Other than that, we have no complaints.

My father has eczema on his legs and Boericke & Tafel Florasone Maximum Strength Cardiospermum Cream is the only product that has given him long term relief. It is excellent.

This cream saved my 7 year old son's skin from horrible eczema. I could never figure out what caused the rash - we tried food elimination diets - but whatever the cause, this was the solution. We spent a year going to different doctors and trying every topical cream available. Nothing worked like this. The improvement was almost immediate and the results are lasting (as long as you keep using it). I highly recommend this cream to anyone suffering from a rash.

After developing an unsightly and uncomfortable rash due to a scented antiperspirant, I tried OTC cortisone cream which just didn't work. I found Florasone after researching natural remedies online. Amazing stuff! It cleared up the rash in just a few days. Last summer I had a terrible rash under my breasts and once again, Florasone did the trick. Cardiospermum is the magic ingredient: an odd word which must mean "heartseed." Many reviews here sing its praises as a treatment for excema but it cures "garden variety" rashes too. I highly recommend this. I just wish it came in larger tubes because you do need to slather it on several times a day.
