I have had trouble sleeping for quite some time. I have used Tylenol Simply Sleep, which usually works, but not all of the time. But I wanted something more natural, so I gave this a try. It tastes horrible, but it really works! Trying to fill the dropper all the way was impossible for me, I don't know why. So I used a cup from some other medicine that had the right dosage. I wish the bottle was bigger though, because I used it up way too fast!

i have always had trouble sleeping!!! this liquid mel. is wonderful.. the taste is sweet with a bite,, if you have ever had a sip of brandy, thats what it tastes like to me.... i have taken many types of sleep meds over the years..this is not addictive, and is all natural... it is so nice to be able to sleep again!!!!!!

I've always had trouble sleeping and I used to be prescribed to Ambian, however I never liked the fact that I could easily become dependent on it. So I traded out my RX to this product. I am very pleased and I don't feel groggy in the morning. I'm not dependent on it either; sometimes I don't even need it every night. It helps make a routine sleep pattern and I must admit that I sleep better with this than I ever have by taking Ambian. I take it before I go to bed, and about 15 minutes later I doze off. Nothing wakes me up anymore during the night and I feel refreshed in the morning. The taste isn't that great, but it really doesn't matter as long as I'm getting a good night sleep.

I like the product. I took it at night before bedtime. But I have a very hard time staying awake during the day and my brain is completely fog. I cannot recall information quickly as usual I have to think hard. I would wake up bright eyed and ready to start the day. But all day I feel extremely tired and burned out.

WONDERFUL! I am a night shift nurse that had trouble staying asleep & falling asleep. I have used this for a week, only the mornings when I come home from work, and I am sleepy enough to actually fall asleep and sleep straight between 6-8 hours and wake up feeling so much better. GREAT PRODUCT!

I haven't had issues staying asleep, but getting to sleep is a major problem for me. This stuff really works in getting me to sleep at night, and knowing it's natural makes it that much better! The reason I gave it 4 stars was because there is so much alcohol in it! It works, though!

My son has always only slept 3-5 hours a night with no naps due to an autism/sleep disorder. I was thrilled with the results for his sleep and also an added bonus of overall improvement in his behaviors. I give him 2 ml at night & he is asleep with 15-20 minutes. He now sleeps 8-10 hours a night. He is much calmer and tho he still has melt downs they are less often, less severe and last for shorter periods. I have even been able to take him completely off of a very strong medication that he has been on for 5 years. As far as the taste, I tried a drop of it myself and it did have a citric acid taste probably from the orange flavor but nothing more than a citric taste. It is a definite orange taste. My son doesn't complain and has even started asking for it. Even if it tasted bad it would be well worth the trade offs here. It can also be mixed with kool-aid or other drinks if this is a problem. 5 STARS!

My daughter has autism as well. (I haven't gotten a good nights sleep since I was 7 months pregnant with her) but we've had sleep-issues with her from day one...she'll be three soon. Her D.P. suggested melatonin (this liquid form) before we tried "medicated sleep". It worked on the third night. The first night she seemed really cuddly and at peace (which is unusual for her in the evenings), second night, very cuddly and sleepy, third night, put her in bed and told her good night, and she slept...the ENTIRE night. I've been using this for four weeks now...and I feel like a new mom. She hasn't woke up ONCE in the night since using this, and hasn't had a problem or protests the evening since using. I put it in her juice (V8 Fusion) about 30 minutes before bed. She can't tell, and I think it tastes good for being medicine. It didn't burn at all...doesn't taste like candy, but isn't bad. My daughter is autistic, and required melatonin supplements to sleep. We crush tablets and mix them in yogurt for her. I thought it would be nice to have these liquid drops in case of a bad night awakening to help soothe her back to sleep. Our doctor always says for me to try new products on myself before I give them to my daughter, and I am so glad I did! They are mostly alcohol; it burned going down.

For years my sleeping habit has been a maximum of four hours sleep per night. Following surgery four years ago, my sleep habits further deteriorated to two to three sleep segments per night totaling four hours. Since I began taking liquid melatonin (I have found the tabs to be far less effective) my sleep pattern has re-adjusted itself. I now sleep a solid two to three hours, followed by a second solid three or more hours, thereby increasing my sleep time over 50% nightly. My sleep is noticeably more restful with little or no "turning and twisting" (as per my significant other). The supplement may cause two side effects that I have noted. One is lucid dreams. The other side effect is that of dreaming in vivid colors. I support the use of this supplement to anyone who has major sleep problems NOT due to sleep apnea, etc but due to a lack of any "stored" sleep patterns in the brain. And to anticipate a question - I am fully rested after completing these two stages of sleep nightly.
